- The video is kinda pink indeed. The filmmaking was conducted during the months of July and August of 2021 and they depict various places in Greece. The storytelling of the video, as well as the poem, is a bit abstract because I feel the concept of love and mental health can be accurately depicted the less accurate you try to be. These are my thoughts and some glimpses of my summer, I hope you like it and maybe connect with it.

At first
it was the sound of your voice
and the way it seemed you were hiding something
While you were sleeping I noticed your anxious breathing
but I didn't say anything
The hardest part of loving them
when they can't love themselves
Is accepting your inability to always make them happy
I know that something is bothering you
but I chose to ignore it

in the absence of you
I noticed that each smile seems
more forced than the last

Is convincing you
that this is not affecting me
You asked me to let you deal with it yourself

I was reading Wordsworth, Rumi and Gibran this morning when your video popped in my notification. Usually I slide all CZcams notifications but, I taped on it since I knew It'd be worth my time. You have a great sense of storytelling through poetry, visuals and sounds. Every second of this video engages me, all my senses are at work, my eye's are pleased with visuals, my ears are pleased with the sounds and my mind is making sense of what the words mean. It's just beautiful in every sense. Thank you.

The darkness becomes a little brighter, with the love, that others show you. But there will never be light ,unless we love ourselves. Sounds easy, but I find it so difficult.

I really liked the concept here. Loving someone when they're battling their own inner war. I felt each and every verse. And as a reader/viewer feeling the emotions which her writer want to express is a big achievement to her as much as to the writer.
Plus when the pov comes of "me", it was a completing part of the whole piece ! 🌸

I think that when you truly love someone, you won't throw him away just because he doesn't love himself... You should be with him in his happy and painful times... You should show him love, support and help him to star loving himself again through hard times.

I fear that my boyfriend is going to get tired of my complex feelings. I'm grateful to admit that the love we share for one another is limitless. But, knowing how hard it is at times for me to cope even with the most simple things, due to my insecurities, I sometimes feel like a weight in my loved ones' lives.
Your art makes me cry, beacuse it somehow gives me that good old feeling of comfort I usually felt as a child. I can't explain.
Maybe it's the visuals that travel me to Greek nature which is linked to my childhood.
Maybe it's your words that radiate something so true in me.
I think I can communicate well with you through your videos and I'm surprised of how good a stranger can express me.

This is so beautiful. I hope one day my partner would be still loving me during the bad days; when my mind is in the dark place.
This is painfully true..me and my best friend have been struggling with this.. the fact that most of our arguments stems from our inability to love ourselves and yet we loves each others too much.. that kinda makes it complicated.. but we've been together for over 10years and still going strong despite these complex argument.. we're both like,"you saved me but i couldn't do the same"..
so i told her it's okay, if we couldn't love ourselves, then let me love you and you can love me.. now everything we do is for each other.. and sometimes it becomes a competition to makes one another happy.. it's kinda bittersweet, but i feel like there's more sweetness than bitter , because we've somewhat found a way to 'love' ourselves..

Love is always depicted in light, but never in darkness. And you, and the people that help you, always find a way to truthfully, honestly, and humanly explain feelings in such a kind way. One where you feel understood, and cradled, honestly accepted.

This hit too close to home. I feel like in a way this is where me and my boyfriend stand right now. We both love each other, but we both hate ourselves. We love each other, but everyday is a constant battle that sometimes it's really hard.

I just finished a novel the theme of this poem is genuinely intertwining with it... this made me smile while listening .....it surprise me how the human feelings can be so similar even if you're from another country, another culture and speaking another language but still we can express the same thing.

I like universal ideas, it seems literal borders or cultural ones can't limit them.

My brother is suffering through major depressive disorder . He just shut down himself and stop doing anything . crying and feeling suicidal every now and then. I have no idea how to cheer him up .i am trying everything i can . Taking him to psychiatrist , talking to him . But it does not seem to working . I am not a good sister i suppose . And when i listen this .i feel like thses are the words i want to tell him . But words are not coming from my mouth . I have literally no one except him . I don't want to loose him . I am really woried . All the time he is thinking of dying . I can't live alone . 😭 Don't mind me i just wanted to say my frustrations out , i have no one with whom i can talk about thses except my brother . I love him . Thank you soo much to remind that . And giving me hope to save him and myself too . ❤️
Hey .I am from the future and guess what your brother fought with depression and he won his life back .he is at really good position and he is doing what he always wanted to do , he is loving his .and you sweetheart , you playing a best friend ,a mother and a sister's role in his life really well . My eternal fight is that I have endless amounts of love for others but not myself. Yet how can I completely give myself, my love, my soul to someone else without first being able to be emotionally present for myself.
It is a reverse experience for me. I was diagnosed with a chronic condition and was hospitalized a long time and everyone around me, family and friends, have been worried about me. And i always tell them i am fine. But all they can read from my poetry is sadness and reflections of how i struggle. Maybe i am in a position of being not able to love myself. I dont know. Thank you for this video and poem!

Lot of people think I am cold and distant at first glance and surface level friendship. Then when If some people try to get to know me, they often time say. "You are nothing what you seemed." I have hard time showing my emotions, cause I have realized from long time. People might not care about me. So I walk like a stone. But once I feel I like you and you are a person I can kinda trust. I will act sometimes even stupider than kids. Hehehe

A good poem makes a good day. It was so calming to watch the whole thing and to listen and be lost in the sound.
This really hits home. I've tried and tried so hard to love myself but it just seems impossible so I'm really sorry to anyone who ever chooses to love me because I know, I'll make it hard for them but deep down, I know I can love someone much more than I could ever love myself so I'll always be trying and I hope they see that.
