When watching UFC I usually have a few beers with friends but by the time it comes on in my country (around 6am) I'm normally too drunk to watch or remember anything - well that night I was extremely drunk and remembered every second of this fight, surreal!

People don't give Costa credit for his technique. That man may fight like a wild animal but he also does it with legit nigh on perfect boxing. Arms are always right angles, he's always varying attacks, he digs everything in.

So final product is a very different from just watching a fight. Plus again in my opinion this is the best promotion ufc can get. Before every ufc card there is hype. This man hypes the hype!

Wasn't a robbery by any means, could of gone either way, but all 3 had it 29-28...like Wonderboy beat Woodley in their second match, just because there wasn't much going on they gave Woodley a 10-8 round in the 5th which is ridiculous. 10-8s are for complete and total domanince in a round which wasn't the case. Like being on your back the entire round without doing damage or anything, should warrant an 8 but sometimes it doesn't

Omi Aranha Lol yes I did. I have Costa winning the first round and the rest is Yoel. Dude even the stats back it up. He landed more significant strikes in total and definitely landed way more shots to the head. I believe Yoel landed 96 shots to the head while Costa landed somewhere around 50. The only thing that Costa had going for him is his advancement, but that doesn’t mean shit when your getting tagged while advancing, and getting out striked. Costa was even knocked down more times as well.

Coming back to this since Adesanya and Costa is finally gonna fight on September 19.
It's going to be a sad day for Costa, when he realizes that he should have just gotten better before fighting izzy. There is no ammount of training camp that is going to prepare him to win. Costa falls for every feint and izzy has the best question mark kick in the game
Also izzy is way to go at not getting trapped against the cage, and Costa cant really punch unless he has someone up against the cage trapped.

@@peterc504 it's not going to be like the romero fight, romero and izzy are both counter strikers which makes for a more slow fight. People have to remeber if costa tries to charge izzy he is just going to get hit hard. Izzy has one of the best straights in all of mma and some of the best accuracy. If costa rushes he is going to get hurt bad. Izzy is also really good at keeping people at a distance with those straights. Nobody has been able to get past those and fight him on the inside. It's just a very bad matchup for costa, very very good matchup for izzy though.

As I said Izzy can really only win by keeping distance as he did with romero but its going to be way harder to keep distance bc costa is constantly coming at you while romero was just bouncing around and attacking every now and then... Yet romero still caught him a few times & scared him if you watch closely. Izzy def looked nervous against Romero.
