You see your children trust you and believe the information you share with them and they learn from the examples you show them... you’re doing more ruining of their life by sheltering them so they can be “kids” as long as possible is just wrong. Be real with your kids, be honest with them. It says more about you wanting to live thru their childish innocence than it does about you trying to be a good parent. Go get help for your ruined childhood because what you’re doing to your kid will bite you in the ass when they grow up and learn the falsehoods you shared with them.
Remember when we were kids and our parents didn't know everything we knew? It's funny when we become adults and we think we know everything about our children and they believe everything we say. Bert's kids probably sit with their friends watching these podcasts mocking his intelligence.
