I asked a doctor once about THC overdose, he said "caffeine counteracts THC in your bloodstream. If you ever over-do it with an edible have a cup of coffee." I've eaten 1000mg accidentally, it did keep me sane and functional the next day when I needed to get up and do stuff. Sometimes getting worked up about an edible can make you sick, just chill and ride the waves with an iced coffee.
So thats why I don't feel edibles. Too much coffee. Last time I bought was 500mg and I was hoping to feel it. Didnt feel shit. 3 coffees a day probably messes with it. Smoking and coffee on the other hand gives me anxiety. But thats probably just the coffees.
@@chrisd0427 If you smoke as well it really dampens edibles or if you're a bigger guy, I have everything working against me so I mega dose. Really makes me giggle when people freak out over 10mgs, it's a somewhat tame drug in comparison to taking too many perks or ecstasy
Coffee would make it worse for me. The elevated heart rate and trouble breathing is always what gives me anxiety when I take high doses and the coffee would just elevate it even more and I would panic lol

I had an experience like this once I was like 17-18 and was working as a server in this nice pizza joint/bar that didn't close until like 3am. It was like 10pm and pretty slow. The closing pizza dude was just tossing pizza dough like a champ and asked me if I wanted an edible. As a teenager fuck yeah I did. I slammed the little orange jelly down and went about my business that was my first mistake. About 15 minutes later I just ask him out of curiosity what the dosage on it was. His response "like 100-150mg I don't remember." The rest of the night my body went on auto pilot, I somehow did my job better than normal. My only objective: survive. I threw up twice over the shift and made over $150 in tips.

My buddy gave me a couple carts he made years ago before I started smoking and had a tolerance and I took a massive rip cause he said the atomizer was burnt out and I had no idea how strong it was. I forgot who I was, where I was, I saw a picture of my gf at the time and couldn’t remember who she was. I was getting paranoid and had like really intrusive suicidal thoughts for maybe 20 minutes. 10/10 experience

@@04dram04 100mgs doesn't kill me. As Uncle Joey says, I've been in training. I ended up having a great sleep. I'm nowhere near Diaz levels though. I max out at around 200mgs these days, and that is if I know I'll have friends around to keep my mind from wandering.

I personally don't smoke, or anything like that anymore. I got too high once and experienced derealization for nearly a month. The worst I've ever felt mentally and I'm not willing to smoke, or try edibles again, for fear of going back to that derealization state.

I love that you gave Mike Cronin a shout out (bonesnake3)! I was lucky enough to see both of you perform at Zanies's in Nashville a few years back. After seeing him open for you, I scoured the internet to find any of his material that I could, and was not disappointed. One of the funniest sets I had ever seen to this day; mad props to Tom and Mike both. I would love for him to get more recognition, or possibly see him as a guest on YMH. Keep killing it guys, you're the best!
P.S. - I know it's a pretty small club, but I hear Tom and Christina both used to do occasional shows at The Secret Group in Houston. I recently moved to Houston and go there at least once a week to watch stand-up. If you guys are ever in the neighborhood and want to swing by an old stomping ground, it would make my whole year. :D
