Freddy was simply THAT great, beyond phenomenal,, amazing, fantastic, wonderful, awesome, top notch, just simply the best ever, sure there are and were other great bands and singers but even 99% of those all looked up to and literally idolized Freddy, everybody, ALL OF THEM loved Freddy.. the other bands actually kinda pissed because they say Queen completely stole the show at Live Aid, they came on and Freddy had 92 thousand people in the palm of his hand , it's true, nobody in the world could work a crowd like Freddy Mercury. just the best there ever has been, and I doubt that anybody will ever touch his talent, and showmanship, just a master

No soundcheck, Freddie advised not to perform as he had a throat infection and frankly 90%+ of the stadium audience not even there to see them. Yet they stole the show from under the noses of David Bowie, The Who, Elton John and his band at there 80's powerhouse peak and George Michael, performing a set still remember decades later.

Freddie Mercury piano and lead vocals, Dr Brian May lead guitar, Roger Taylor drums and John ‘Deacy’ Deacon bass guitar. All extremely talented musicians, all highly educated, and all prolific songwriters. Each member wrote songs that became hits. Please watch their 20 minute set at Live Aid, a benefit concert to raise money for the Ethiopian famine. Every big name artist participated but Queen blew them all away, still regarded as one of the best ever performances by a rock band. It is incredible to see the crowd reaction, 80,000 at Wembley, a simultaneous concert in Philadelphia with another 90,000 people and a worldwide television audience of 1Billion people. Queen stole the show and it is a must see

Check out the official video to this song as well. The harmonies are out of this world. The three singers voices blended perfectly. Freddie Mercury - lead singer, piano, Brian May - guitarist, Roger Taylor - drums. Roger Taylor sings lead on I'm In Love With My Car this same concert. Also he sings with Freddie on Under Pressure Live at Wembley 1986. Their 20 minute Live Aid performance in 1985 is considered the best live concert performance ever. They are all incredibly talented. The guitarist built his own guitar and has a PhD in Astrophysics. The bassist has an honours degree in Electrical Engineering. The drummer has a degree in Biology and the lead singer has a Graphic Arts degree and designed the Queen crest. All four wrote hit songs and were inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame. The lead singer is Freddie Mercury. He was and still is a legend and an icon. He passed away from AIDS in 91 sadly and he's so missed. There's no one like him, he was so unique. He's considered to be the greatest vocalist of all time. I def agree with that. He had no vocal training other than being in a choir as a kid in school. That's about it.

So much Queen to discover. You found a happy rabbit hole here. Live/Studio just dive in. Freddie (the singer) is a one of a kind find. What's also great? They don't get blocked. People do them all the time. So go on splurge of Queen. Neither you, nor your subs, will be disappointed. I think we would all enjoy watching you discover the magic of Queen.
One suggestion: listen/react to the *studio* Bohemian Rhapsody before the live. Just so you can get the magnificent studio rendition lodged in that head of yours. Some things can't be reproduced onstage. Freddie was such a pitch master singer he can purposely record a double track slightly different of the main track for a doubling effect. Flawlessly. Bohemian is a prime example. No auto tune. All talent. There will never be another Freddie Mercury.
