    Thank you for the video, i just put them on and i notice that the rollers not rotating, i am not sure if they are slightly bigger than OEM rollers and touching the helix.

    • @AdrenalineCyclesKy

      Thanks for watching. If its touching it will not affect it. We installed hundred of them and never had issues. Run it.

    if I screwed up and broke a set screw from the puller inside the pin threads...is it game over and time to purchase a new outer half?

    • @AdrenalineCyclesKy
      @AdrenalineCyclesKy  Před rokem

      Thanks for watching. No you can cut the pin and replace it with a new pin. You will have to get a punch and drive out the last part of the pin and once the old pin is out. Install a new one.

    Can i do this without taking the clutch apart if i dont need to replace my helix, im just replacing the rollers.

      Thanks for watching. We have not done it that away. I would think that it could not be done, the bolt that holds it on the transmission will come straight off and then pull the secondary off with your hands it dont need a special tool.

    Thanks for the video it’s really good, was wondering if you drive the pin too far and you break the casting on the back? Is this cause for concern? Have you done that before

    • @Codyyster
      @Codyyster Před 2 lety

      I know the video says if you go too far pull it back with the tool yes, but there is casting in the clutch that should stop it was moving but mine just popped and now I don’t know what to do

    • @AdrenalineCyclesKy
      @AdrenalineCyclesKy  Před 2 lety

      Thanks for watching. If you go a little to far we do use the tool to pull it back flush. We never broken the casting but I am sure it could happen. Make sure to use heat when pulling out the pins and take your time when installing the new rollers.

    • @AdrenalineCyclesKy

      Way cheaper to have us change the rollers out than buy a new clutch part.

    Do you reuse the oem roller shims/washer with the rhino rollers ?

    • @AdrenalineCyclesKy
      @AdrenalineCyclesKy  Před 4 lety +1

      Hello, We have used them and have not used them if they where damaged. I dont think it really affects the performance of the rollers so use them if you have them, but if they are damaged you can leave them out.

    Could you deburr the helix rather than toss a still rather usable component?

    • @AdrenalineCyclesKy
      @AdrenalineCyclesKy  Před 2 lety +1

      Thanks for watching. You could clean it up a little bit but try not to change the ramp angle of it as it will affect the clutch performance.

    • @masonstansberry2625
      @masonstansberry2625 Před 2 lety

      @@AdrenalineCyclesKy I figured you may be able to just clean up the lip at the edge so it doesn't ruin your new rollers, but I wasn't sure.

    Do you use factory washers w gboost roller bearings

    • @AdrenalineCyclesKy
      @AdrenalineCyclesKy  Před 3 lety

      Thanks for watching. To be honest we do if they are good. But if the washers are bent up we just leave them out of the new rollers and they work fine that away.

    • @AdrenalineCyclesKy
      @AdrenalineCyclesKy  Před 2 lety

      Thanks for watching. We have a clutch holding tool that we use to that holds the clutches together so they can be torqued.

    • @michaellorenzi4522
      @michaellorenzi4522 Před 2 lety

      55 ft lbs, +or - 4 lbs. This is the torque for the bolt that holds the entire secondary clutch onto the shaft. Use blue lock tite too.

    How many miles do most secondary rollers last? Couple thousand miles?

    • @AdrenalineCyclesKy
      @AdrenalineCyclesKy  Před 3 lety +1

      Thanks for watching, Typically they will go for 2500-4000 miles with no issues. But what happens is the rollers can fail under use when the driver lets off the throttle then is hard back on the gas it lets the rollers get smacked hard against the helix and that breaks the factory rollers. The Gboost solves this problem as it has a more durable material.

      @@AdrenalineCyclesKy Hello what material does Gboost use for the roller?

  • @davidalderman7776
    @davidalderman7776 Před 3 lety

    Curious, I have a 2019 Defender XMR, the secondary is different. It has star head bolts that run through the inside between the inner and outer. Looks like that’s what holds the roller pins on mine. Have you messed with those much ? I’m debating doing the roller job myself as both my rollers split for some reason.

    Whats your thoughts on getting a spring that doesn't sit down in the holes?

    • @AdrenalineCyclesKy
      @AdrenalineCyclesKy  Před 2 lety

      Thanks for watching. If the spring dont sit and lock into a hole it can cause the helix not to keep tension on the rollers and work properly.
