Thanks for sharing, always good to know how it works and the pitfalls you face as well.

Yessir ! I installed Earles CDO rollers when mine broke and stranded me at 1400 miles . I just changed the oil and filter , cleaned air box installed new air filter , pulled the CVT cover blew the clutches out and inspected the rollers and they still look minty .
It makes enough clangs bangs and clunks to make me think I need a mobile mechanic following me around hahaha

These X'3 are what i like to call a "raw" machine. They bang , clank and rattle a bit, leave you dirty at the end of the run, and are essentually a small racecar, at the end of the day, I'll buy another one any day. Its a great universal platform to buil your own custom rig off of, and the smiles per miles are high. Good to know that the rollers are holding up. Thanks fro the update, Joe.

There is a guy who makes and sells these rollers made from Delrin here in Dartmouth. He has a youtube channel and online store.

Cubic dollar off road is located in Chezzetcook. Earl Peoples is the owners name. Same deal, he makes these and other accessories

@@ruyguy8888 that’s him it’s been awhile since I last saw a video from him and some how I’m unsubscribed from him.

Delrin is not a good idea. Delrin does not have the heat ratings required. The Cubic Dollar rollers are alot higher grade material.

@@earlpeeples4592 Ty for clarification it was over a year ago I saw the video it looked like Delrin cause I wasn’t sure of the material. I know you sell other accessories as well but again it was during Covid I saw your videos for clutch stuff.

Wow that noise when you ran it is normal????? How much are new rollers? I replaced the secondary rollers in my proxp and they were expensive

When people complained about the previous year's clutch noises at 5000rpms that noise is what they where talking about.. only worse. The P-drive clutch is quieter plus Can-am added insulation to both the clutch cover and the intake tubes. That whine noise isn't really noticeable while driving. The ATVs are somewhat the same. ever listen to a XMR with its snorkels up front? Might as well have some cheese with that whine.
These rollers where about $100 but well worth it for lifetime guarantee and a way stronger design.

how did you remove the roller axles?

    • @ruyguy8888

I took it into the dealer to have them done because i didn't have the puller tool you will need. They are held in there with a pin that is pressed in.
If you search "Maverick X3 secondary roller puller" you will find all kinds of results.
