This is an important update about the near future of the channel. Since new years, my health has taken a turn for the worse, and at the moment I am spending most of my time at the hospital. It seems like this will continue for quite a while, all of my energy and focus will have to go into my cancer treatments. I am hoping to be back at full speed as soon as possible, but until then I just want to make you aware the regular weekly content won't happen. Thank you for the endless support everyone

I can't enjoy the sensation of a new content patch or xpac without thinking to myself, "Hayven would have loved to explore these places....". RIP bud. I wonder if you had thought about how even if things didn't work out with your treatment, that your content would continue existing, immortalized on the web. So many people die and are forgotten, but your voice and vision remains quite alive here -- one of the bittersweet bonuses of the technological age we live in.

Although I've never met you and only had the privilege to find your channel a little time ago, it makes me so sad to know that you're not with us anymore, but you really inspire me and also inspired a lot of people and still do so with the videos you made and all the content you brought to us, all the things you always wanted to explain to us. I was listening to the same song his last video had on a music video and almost everyone was refering to this guy. I was upset just hearing that, but then coming over here; it really hurts hearing him try and be optimistic for his viewers, even when he was told his chances and knew how bad his condition was getting, let alone just how scared he could've felt all along😭

Daylyt how unpredictable cancer is
Once someone has cancer so advanced they have to be hospitalized because their health has deteriorated to the point of needing palliative care for the pain, then it's pretty much over. He was being positive for us in his videos. Once on that morphine drip, it's about making the patient as comfortable as possible until respiration ultimately ceases. Fuck cancer. It's taken too many good people.

Yeah.. i watched him for quite a while i thought the updates were nice and i was glad to hear he was doing as well as he could. but after the passing this video is such a hard one to watch i still miss his kindness he truly was a humble and lovely person.

Your videos give me a window on those missed times, and on top of that all your smoke and mirrors content really shows off some of the tricks of graphic design.

I suddenly at 3 am thought of Hayven and how I miss his voice and how tragic his fate was :’( How I miss him. I cant believe its been 4 years. I wanted him to pull through. I broke down the day he died. I hope he is in a better place and feels loved and happy. Rest in peace Hayven
