many years ago I was on my way to my great grandmothers funeral with my then brother-in-law he owned a 1983 mustang GT (3 door coupe) this was playing on the radio when we pulled into the parking lot. every time I hear the song I think of that moment, not that we were two Pallbearers who were late, but that I like this song and I loved that car. (which I named Mariah).

I thought Modern Love by David Bowie does have a chance to get to the Top 10 in late October of 1983, but it is failed.
Another example of people in television and the movies rebranding good pop music as if it was their original song. It pisses you off when you step into an elevator or the supermarket and hear some tune from your past being played as MUZAK.
I honestly cant be the only one who thinks the title track to this album is overrated right? I've always thought Modern Love was the best song on the album. China Girl and Let's Dance were never even in my top 25 Bowie songs. I personally think they might be a bit overrated, at the very least, overplayed
