I watched an entire MTH concert on line. Their energy for every minute of every song was mind boggling. The Japanese put everything they have into their performances.

They used this as the closure for their set at NEX Fest Tokyo. I was close to the rail with tens of thousands of people doing the dance. It was so packed you couldn't help but to join in even if you don't know the entire dance. Such a blast!

He's right about not following Maximum the Hormone. No way can anyone top them. The drummer, Neo has influenced many female drummers in Japan. Akane and Tamu are both big fans.

I love their genre bending ways. You could literally hear 5 totally different music genres in one song.

Maybe not the right song to introduce MtH to someone who doesn't know them. Perhaps you should have started with "Zetsybou Billy! or "What's up people! or a more recent "Maximum the Hormone II" Don't get me wrong, I love this song!

Awesome band, your friend seemed to like them - he may be a bit intimidated by them LOL
