Fixed the issue thanks to you God blessed us save alot of money thanks for the channel
What was the problem mines is doing this now❓
great video very detailed and step by step
Glad it helped! Ur very welcome and thank you so much for subscribing to the channel!
I have before issue with my q7 2007, rough start specially mornings , check engine light. Come in sometime goes out, random misfire. Tried sparks and coil first, fix the for a couple months (check engine) and then lights comes. And research about the carbon build up and decide is time to do that, with excellent results,
I used walnut shell. I found nasty stuff, sticky oil but not in all the ports. Currently not problems but I would like to install an oil catch can to reduce the amount of carbon build up.
Hi Jairo, glad you got your Q7 fixed.. Sadly its a common issue on these audi engines with carbon buildup. The best thing you can do is use high tier quality gas and use a fuel cleaner every 1000-2000 miles and it will highly decrease the chance of major carbon buildup next time
Do you have video for carbon build up fix just curious I currently have the same code with my q7

@@michelleabrams8226 I follow those 3 videos for this person. It was a little intimidated for me to be honest but I did. Other thing make sure the valve cover is not the problem because has inside a rubber thing when is old got hole and lost vacuum. But the link this explains really good
@@jairocalderon3286 thanks cause mines is a 08 first only had p0171 now it’s showing p0300 code also I’m tryna see if it’s a major problem or simple fix
I hope you end up finding the fix for the q5, it looks amazing
Thank you!
nice bro you just got back to troubleshoot and fix misfire detected
That’s awesome missed you just got back to my home country

IWill Know8 dope review
Good video, just one thing, those are individual ignition coils, not a coil pack. Coil-on-plug design negates the need for coil packs.
This is a dope car
Thanks!
Normally replace all spark plugs and coils. Then if not resolved, then its a injector problem
Yes correct. Thank you for sharing that and Thank you for liking the video and subscribing to the channel. -MrCarMAN
@@janosskovalevskis hi my check engine light is flashing so I replaced all plugs and only the bad coil #2 but my lights still flashing what can I do ❓
Did you ever find out what caused the codes?? Having the same issue now
Hi me too did you find out?
Thank you so much, pls how help get cylinder gasket, valve cover gasket and the cam gasket. My Audi A6 consumes coolant fast so I suspect the cylinder head gasket. Pls what can you think might be cause. Also the cost of the parts. Thank you.
thank you are great. you’ve any advice? edit: i've got a volkswagen polo s 16v 2007 1 .4l petrol.
Great job. Just purchased the same exact model yesterday. Drove off the lot and same issues appeared.
P301,02,03. All on one side. Any thoughts on what you did to fix it?
I have a long road to diagnostics. Lol
Thank you in advance
Most likely carbon build up and will need internal cleaning
Thank you for watching and subscribing to MrCarMAN
Do you have any excessive ticking noises on that side of the engine? You might have bad needle bearings on one of the two intake rocker arms for the #2 cylinder. Just went through this issue on my wife’s Q5 with same engine.
Hi I think this the problem with mines how do you fix it or what’s the name of the job?
It’s a major repair. You will need to remove the camshafts on the suspect side and this will require a special to hold the sprockets and keep the engine in time. After you remove the camshafts you will need to inspect the rockers for excessive play in the needle bearings. Search for “rocker arm replacement on Audi 3.2L FSI” There is also a good video on CZcams but I can’t remember the name of it.
@@jar03280 how much is it to get something like that fixed? The cheapest 🥴
thanks. cannot figure out the issue, i get random misfires only under it won’t start.
Did you sort it out?
Misfire on cylinders 1,2 and 5 2015 Audi Q5 after putting gas in
Might just be bad gas or your fuel line/fuel injectors are causing an issue
@@MrCARman how do you fix the issue if its bad gas?
Couldn't edit my earlier comment so writing another one. It does leak and burn some oil and needs about a ½ to ¾ Litres added.
It was purchased at a high price so I have risked myself with a 3500 km journey to get issues addressed upon reaching destination or address them myself after watching this.
Pls provide guidance.
Hi I replied to your previous comment, I would check up with a local mechanic for carbon cleaning and get that done. But its also doable at home if you have the right equipment

Hey this is what my truck is doing please help what was the problem ❓
Stunning tutorial, did you eventually end up finding the cause of the p0302 code?
Hi, no I haven’t found the solution uet
@@MrCARmanI got some bad news mine had all these codes and boom found out I jumped a tooth on the chain so get ready for that one 😢
I did the intake valves plugs fuel injectors gasket intake and valve O2 sensors and boom still misfiring so I did fuel pump filter high pressure fuel pump 💪
We gotta have it nope
Nope nope dropped motor
And there was the tension thingy loose asf not locking close or open but they said
3750 to finish I don't know wtf to tell em but put that bitch back in and we figure it out don't touch nothing what I owe u then he said 980 and I'm a sell it to someone else but tell em it's the chain
@@MrCARmandid you everc
Did you ever?
I have the same problem after replacing all spark plugs and coils. Have you found what the issue is?
Hi Remy, next would be to get carbon cleaning done of your engine. And most likely that’s going to have to be taken to a shop because they take a part the top half of the engine. It’s a very common issue on Audi’s in general
It's a very common issue on most if not all direct injection engines due to the fact that the fuel does not go through the intake but is injected directly into the cylinder. In throttle body type motors the fuel passes through the intake, over the valves and then into the cylinders. In that instance the fuel actually helps keep everything in the intake system relatively clean.
I need help like yesterday. Got a 2014 Audi Q5 2.0 L TFSI.
It was purchased via dealer auction. At 200000 km. Since then, was driven 7000 km by another dealer with muffler leak for inter-city travel, vacuum leak and multiple cylinder misfire codes. I've been driving it since 1500 km and got the exhaust fixed. Oil filter and engine air filter are new. The codes are still there and drives fine.
I am not sure what to do exactly. I've been told the codes could be false except vacuum leak and a vacuum leak can throw off the sensors.
Hi you might have a vacuum leak somewhere, but if not your engine is going to need carbon cleaning.. very common on the 2.0 and 3.2 engines on these Audis.. especially since the suv was being driven with a muffler leak and misfire, that could have caused even more carbon build up to happen in your engine.
@@MrCARmanI thought I had mentioned it all earlier but I forgot to specify another code.
P0011 camshaft position timing over-advanced. In comparison, where would this code fit it?
Bro made a 10 minute video to say check the coil pack and spark plug. 😂
Did you find out the actual issue?
Hi, no still haven’t found the cause yet
@@MrCARman Hi, do you know if error P1743 can be fixed using any resets
Nice bro you have a Twitter or INSTA?
I got an instagram, link in description of the video
i am having the car recently and having the misfires on cyl 2&4.
I hope the video helped, if not it can be fuel injectors or even worse ur timing/cams
Did you get it fix
👍👍
Thanks!
Does anybody know what code P1109 stand for
Hi that code for Audi most likely has to do with a faulty oxygen sensor or the wiring to the sensor
How long did this body shape run for? It’s pretty damn nice
2009-2017
Isn't spark plugs + Coils set the first one to be replaced? They are not expensive on FCP
Im having this issue yet now mine has sat in storage for over a year. Intially i had someone doing exactly as you said but believe it or not the undercarriage caught on fire wat could cause that
Anyone help if possible i hace video of wen it did
Do a smoke test on the oil separator/pcv
Thank you, i will try that next time
This code is definitely the coils and plugs??
My wiring was eaten by a rat😂😂😂
Hahaha, those damn rats
It happened to my q5 as well. And I can never get the check brake pad light off even though I replaced all brake pads.
Hi Olivia, that’s because you have to change the brake pad sensor. It’s usually one 2 of ur calipers
@@MrCARman Oh forgot to mention the sensor. I guess the rats chew up the wires connect to the sensors. Anyway, not big deal right now. Would love to see the updated video of the misfire. Swapping spark plugs and coils didn't solve my cylinder 1 misfire.
Very interesting comment pointing to the rats, I'm wondering if this coud be the case for my car 2012 Jetta mk6 1.4tsi the car had been acting strange for the past 6 months or so OBD11 were picking up misfires on Cyc 1&4 but not enough count to throw a check engine light so I replaced the spark plugs by myself during movement control order after which the car ran smoothly but OBD11 were still picking up misfires.
Finally was able to get it to the garage 3 months back they found 2 housing connectors to coils were broken and was replaced they also performed scans and didnt pickup any misfires they also ran a compression test twice and results were perfect. At this point I thought the problem was fixed but after 2 weeks found that my fuel consumption had deteriorated a little so I ran OBD11 again only to find out there were misfires simply baffled so back to the garage this time injector test were done along decarbonizing too still there were misfires at this point I thought it could be my cheap OBD11 I wasn't accurate and so left it.
Just a week ago the cars power steering failed poped the hood to check if fluids were low or if there were leaks instead I found a wiring harness connected to the power steering ripped the garage confirmed that rats had bitten them got that sorted out and now while I was driving home today car started shuddering like it was going to stall I drove it slowly back home check engine light flashed about 3 times then went off but the EPC light stayed on used the OBD11 and faults registered were P0300. P0301 and P0304. Engine misfiring on cyc 1 & 4.
Getting the car towed to the garage tmrw hoping those mistifying misfires would be finally sorted out once and for all.
@MrCarMAN: I need some help!
When I start it cold, the engine has a slight rumble to it and shakes for and bit and about 20 to 30 seconds later, it goes to normal. After the engine has been running and at a stoplight, for example, I feel a slight tremor every so often. I took it to the dealer and the dealer said it is definitely not normal and I left it there. Ita has been 2 days now... the issue with this is that no check engine light is coming up. So to the dealer, the car is not telling them that it has an issue but from the dealer standpoint, it doesn't seem normal. Please help!
Hi, my q5 is having the same exact issue. I’m 90% certain now that it needs carbon cleaning which the v6 3.2 are known for in the engine
Bring that up to the dealer and see what they say, because I tried even swapping fuel injectors but that isn’t it either. So got to take the top part of the engine off and clean the carbon build up from our DI engines
@@MrCARman Took it to the dealer and the dealer did a carbon cleaning with some solution. It was not the walnut one. The engine seems to be working better but it still has a slight rumble. I even did my own scan with the Blue driver scanner and no error messages or anything comes up. The dealer said that this is the best it can get... Any suggestions?
I had the same symptoms on my audi a4, my mechanic ended up cleaning the carbon from the top end with walnut blasting
So update, it turns out that the previous owner took it to a dealer and they installed the wrong spark plugs. After the correct spark plugs were installed no more problems. The wrong spark plugs were about 1mm short and did not complete a full arch and gave a misfire.
Is anyone having any issues with removing coils 2 and 3. I cannot seem to get enough leverage in order to pull it out. I need help.
Same problem with my s5,
Did it fix your issue?
Well no more Honda’s I guess
I have one coming soon
It’s a carbon build up , not something else I assure you

I have the same issue and Three spark plugs were changed by Audi, ONLY. I was told if the EPC light came back on, to return to the dealership and they would install the other three (yup). I returned another time, and the same Audi dealership mentioned it was the Carbon build up and $2500 repair, as well as Audi didn't cover the repair under warranty (as my Audi was still under warranty). I also asked I didn't understand why they wouldn't replace the 6 spark plugs initially, or replace the other three and was told they would have to lift the engine to do so (which I know is BS), so I took it to another Audi at a later date, in the same state, and was told it was the left camshaft that was damaged, and the repair would cost 5,000. I took it to a third Audi, when I did an oil change, and this Audi dealership, and showed them pictures of the camshaft sent by the second gentleman, he mentioned that if the car was under warranty, it would have covered it. On another note, my friend owns another type of Audi, which did not have that problem, or code, and was also charged $2500 for "carbon build up" repairs. The second Audi dealership, who finally did their job and noticed the damage on the camshaft, mentioned the carbon build up was BS and that I would have wasted "$800".
