Tal, I understand the term *"settler"* and the associated feelings and narratives vary significantly depending on the perspective.
    *Jewish Resident Perspective*
As voiced by the Jewish resident you mentioned, being labeled a **"settler"** can feel *hurtful* and *oversimplified*. Many Israelis feel that their presence in certain territories is justified based on *historical* , *religious* , and *security-related claims* . They highlight the context of the *1967 Six-Day War* , which they see as a *defensive conflict* . Following this war, Israel gained control over the *West Bank* , *Gaza Strip* , and *East Jerusalem* , areas seen by many Jewish residents as part of their *historical and national heritage* . This perspective often emphasises the *right to live in security* and the desire for *peaceful coexistence* , despite the complex geopolitical reality.
    *Palestinian Perspective*
For Palestinians, the term "settler" is used to describe Israelis living in settlements that are built on lands they consider to be part of their *future sovereign state* , based on the *1967 borders* . These settlements are often viewed as *illegal under international law* and as an *obstacle to peace* , leading to *displacement* and a *violation of Palestinian rights* . Palestinians see these settlements as a manifestation of *ongoing occupation* and a major barrier to achieving a *two-state solution* , with Palestinians striving for *East Jerusalem* as the capital of their future state.
    *International Community Perspective*
The majority of the international community, as reflected in numerous *UN resolutions* , considers Israeli settlements in the West Bank and East Jerusalem *illegal under international law* , specifically the *Fourth Geneva Convention* , which *prohibits an occupying power from transferring its own civilian population into the territory it occupies* . However, opinions do vary, and some countries, particularly under different *U.S. administrations* , have shown varying levels of support for Israel’s settlement policies. The international legal consensus does not align with the annexation of territory acquired through war, advocating instead for a *negotiated settlement based on the 1967 borders* .
    *Historical and Legal Context*
The *rules of war* , particularly those codified in international treaties like the *Geneva Conventions* , aim to protect the rights of civilians and ensure humane treatment during conflict. These laws have been interpreted by the *International Court of Justice* and other bodies to *suggest that occupying powers should not make permanent changes to the territory they occupy* and must administer these areas in a manner that benefits the local population and respects their rights until a lasting peace can be negotiated.
TAL YOU NEARLY LOST YOUR LIFE INCOME.
    Try to understand!

It’s so difficult and unfortunately with religious believing Muslims ( not non religious, educated and integrated Muslims) I don’t see how any non Muslims can coexist with them unless they are sufficiently small in number and not living in groups isolated from other cultures ( then they take on the values to a degree of the majority culture). In the Middle East and other majority Muslim countries there is so much hatred against Jews, Americans and the West in general and whilst their is so much indoctrination and blind belief, I don’t see a way that they can live in peace with anyone else. The blind belief and the fact that their founder advocated so much violence, hatred and submission means there is no place to go…
I sincerely hope that there is someone who can ‘undo’ the minds of religious Muslims and they get to see that it really is not a religion worth adherence to.

0:14 Historically, it's clear that there have been Arabic-speaking people living in the territories known today as Israel and the Palestinian territories for centuries. These people, over time, have developed a unique Palestinian identity that is recognized globally today. Thus, denying the existence of Palestinians overlooks a complex history and the current political and cultural realities. Again How many centuries have Arabs now identified as Palestinians lived there? This is the land of the native people. I can't claim to a house and land I left and 10 days ago, never mind 2000 years ago! Common sense?

Great video, bro! Regarding "indefensible borders", it was very good to show it... not on maps but with boots on the ground. Most people dont understand this important aspect... how small Israel is... the geography of Israel and in how far strategic problems could arise for the survival of Israel when they give up the so called "Westbank" - the heartland of the Jews. They need more graphic content... sadly. Would love to see a video dedicated to this topic specifically.

I mean no one lives in their Urheimat, really. We humans moved around all the time. Germans came to modern Germany only about 2100-2300 years ago.
The most important thing is to prosper and have the power and wealth to create a strong, free, vibrant and dynamic society that can defend itself. The rest is just stories. Israel has that, that is why they have to be supported.

For 2000 years Jewish communities were elsewhere!
2:28 'Al Aqsa' and 'Dome of the Rock' is a community's heartbeat for Muslims . Changing an 'active' space of worship is not like repainting an old jewish building or building upon an 'abandoned' place of worship; the population left some 2000 years ago. LEFT!
When a site of worship is active, and the 3rd most important site for Muslims's-that is different as it directly impacts the current Muslim community's emotions, traditions, and spiritual practices, making such transformations to a Jewish Temple a delicate dance of respect and insensitivity towards 2 billion Muslims.
4:37 Your words are charged, but let's seek truth over division.
While the Jewish presence over two millennia has varied, the constant heart of this land beats with its native Christians then Palestinians, whonare still steadfast at Al Aqsa.
Let's acknowledge that for 2000 years, Jewish communities were else where!
    2:23

Psagot winery and also some other wineries in this region have award winning products. They are exported to the US as well - with a war about how they have to be labelled (illegal settlements products, or outstanding Israeli products?).
Also the Romans shipped the Israeli wine to Rome. If Italian wine would have been better, they would not have done this.

4:07 I wonder how israelis have such a detailed information on their history. Is this taught in schools or is this something parents pass it down to their children? In India we aren’t taught the Hindu history and Hinduism is really looked down upon. It’s illegal to build Hindu “Gurukula” but Islamic and Christian schools are legal. We became so detached from our own history after the Islamic invasion and British colonialisation. It is said that it was conspired by the previous government which had been in power since the independence of the country to keep Hindus under control by detaching them from their own roots and telling them constantly that their history is nothing but oppression on others.

Basically, the Bible is a history book. I realize that many of the stories might sound too phenomenal to be true. However, whether you choose to believe everything it says in the Bible, or not - there undoubtedly many accurate historical facts in it. Also archeology is very developed in Israel. So u guess it is a combination of ancient scriptures ( also found outside of Israel, that mentions Israel in the ancient periods) and archeological findings and research. I never been to India, but from what i hear- it is magnificent! I hope you find ways to preserve your beautiful culture ❤

It's because the Jewish religion was instituted by God Himself when He called Abraham out of the gentile world to become the patriarch of an ethnic nation. That's why they have retained their identity and customs for 3,500 years. They were under judgment in the last 2,500 years beginning with Babylon, then Medo-Persia, Greece, and Rome, but now they're back in the land. It also means that the Church Age (another entity that's special to God but whose membership is not based on ethnicity but by grace through faith in Jesus Christ and what He has accomplished on the cross) is almost over. God will soon rapture His Church and turn His attention back to Israel because He has unfinished business with them. They rejected Jesus Christ the Messiah 2,000 years ago and that caused their diaspora, but their return to the land beginning in the 19th century is a sign that God is coming back to a covenantal relationship with them. The Prophet Zechariah said that 2/3 will perish because they will most likely follow the Antichrist, but 1/3 will be refined like silver and gold in the coming 7-year tribulation, which is the most hellish period the world will ever experience since it was created 6,000 years ago. The fact that we're seeing all of these things as we're approaching the 2,000th year anniversary of the death and resurrection of Jesus is proof positive that we're nearing the 7-year tribulation. You see, there's 6,000 years allotted for man's disastrous rule (gentiles=2,000 years, Israel=2,000 years, Church=2,000 years) then comes the final 1,000 years where the God-man Jesus Christ, the Creator and Savior of the world will rule in righteousness and justice. Right now the Jews don't see Jesus as the Messiah, but after the horrors of the tribulation and the Antichrist and the Babylonian New World Order system, they will finally acknowledge Him towards the end of the 7-year tribulation.

Palestine and Israel are some of the most crowded countries on earth. Stop telling people there's plenty of land. You want the entire place to be built up and full of people. To put it into Filipino perspective, Israel+Palestine is the same size as the Mimaropa Region in the Philippines, which is Palawan, Mindoro, and the smaller islands in between them. Mimaropa has 3.3 million people. Israel+Palestine has 14 million- in an area the same size
