y'all are so nitpicky. it's for the hopeless romantics and it's a hyperbole. it's art. not literal.
So, you don't like this song because of the time when it's competing ... I don't get the relevance! If one likes a song, one does so, regardless of the timing. I agree that one must be in the mood to fully feel what the song is meant to convey, but in this case, for example, you imply that we should necessarily boogie-woogie when we just got out of a "pandemic" and are in the middle of a war? Just to forget about them for a second, or what? Only a few decades ago, people used to "honor" sad events with a sober attitude, not with "jump for joy". Nevertheless, it seems that fans don't want to forget about the war and are prepared to give the trophy to Ukraine, for a mediocre song, at least according to Eurovision statistics. Of course, we should appreciate every artist's effort and enjoy what's best in every song, because we could find something enjoyable to each of them, but to award THE trophy itself out of pity, when it's about a SONG CONTEST , that's too much.

That was the aim of my reply, not the fact you don't like this song and, ultimately, other songs alike because of personal taste. In your main comment, more or less consciously, you tried to instruct others why they shouldn't vote for this song. And the irrelevant reason was the bad timing ...
Overrated... Live felt a little flat for me
Well live a lot of songs weren't that Perfect.
For example Poland was verry messy(vocals good of course),
Albania was oh. Um....eeeeh....
Armenia was pitchy too.
Netherlands was pitchy as Well.
snippet of Spain song was oooof....vocals weren't great for sure.
Italy snippet, Bilanco wasn't great vocally
But Greece was amazing, she maybe didn't sound Perfect but she was verry nervous like VERRY NERVOUS. but the stage and all that was 🔥🔥🔥.
Also Sweden was so good. Even with same stage ir was verry good.
So for me Greece and Sweden for win...and maybe...maybe...Poland or UK
