- After two months, I finally bring you part 2 of this mini series if you will, where I just talk about the descendants, as well as thoughts I have regarding the Tricous and theories that I either thought of while writing the script or found online.

It’s always interesting to see how people look at the 6 teen siblings, Kestrel is quite the chaotic force in my game who ended up wrecking Romeo and Juliet’s relationship.

In my game my teen sim started dating orion teens and i sent them to college together, basically when orion grew up in the cutscene i got jumpscared lol

Thank you so much! Making this video was fun and allowed me experiment a little bit, especially with taking more cinematic screenshots and filming scenes. It took some time to get stuff to some standard that I liked and I'm glad that you got some enjoyment out of it ^_^
I just had an epiphany while watching this video. I was looking to slowly incorporate occults in my newer rotational game of Sims 2, but it didn't feel right (to me) to have them in Pleasantview or Bluewater village. The Tricou Teens will be perfect as being each of the life states living under one roof in the House of Fallen Trees as that weird family of Zombies, Vampires, Werewolves, Plantsims, Good and Evil Witches (maybe adding a Servo and Yeti and a Genie Lamp in the mix). And as always, great content! Love these deep dives!
In my headcannon, Kestrel is really into vintage stuff especially the Roaring 20s and dresses like a flapper, Orion is a mysterious goth guy who all alternative teens in town have a crush on, Swan is a girlboss MLM kind of person, Patrick is also passive and also not very talkative which makes some of people consider him the brawn or the "bodyguard" of the group, Loren is also the smart one but also the one who keeps the family together the most, and Tiave is that guy who's confident, talks a lot, likes stuff like fast cars and is convinced he's always the one in charge and in control in regards to siblings

Well, when you put it like that, I would also be grumpy if I was crushed to death... Now I just have an image of a disembodied voice yelling "It's just a joke!" after the satellite lands 😂
That sims 2 song in the intro gives me chills. The whole Tricou family mystery is so spooky. What are those 6 teens doing homeless wandering downtown? Have you identified if there is a lot that each teen prefers to show up at? Ive been getting my teen sims to stay downtown for days on end drinking coffee and going to different lots to try and befriend the Tricou Teens. What is the best way to get them to be playable without cheats?
I think the only problem I have is if the tricous died 50 years, how would the teens have been born? I absolutely agree Jon died first but if he died 50 years ago, how did he have these bastard children that are under 18.
Honestly, I don't know. My two personal theories, depending on how I'm feeling, are either he left his sperm in a sperm-bank and some sims used it to have babies years later, or he magically got sims pregnant from beyond the grave with ghost powers. If we're looking at this from a potential gameplay standpoint, they're probably not supposed to be his children, but literal descendents, and the only way Maxis could display this was through making them his children in the family tree. Who they'd been descended from though with the bloodline ending with Fricorith and Gvaudoin... no clue. Those are my theories, but with nothing really being confirmed and left to player speculation, anything could have happened. It's what I meant with Fricorith's cameo in The Sims 3 making things a little confusing, because with him being the fifth to die according to the memories of Jennicor who was the last, and Jonathan being the first to perish, and with TS3 being set 50 years before The Sims 2, it places Jon's death at 50 years prior. It's weird and makes the bastard children's existence make little sense 😂
my theory is that they arent blood related. those teens are a group of friends who are obsessed with the Tricou mystery and "related" themselves to the patriarch of the family, maybe in an attempt to bring the family back to life
@@jljljl1820 that’s actually an interesting theory, since it means they would be in a cult. That also comes convenient with their names being randomized, since they aren’t really related, but have the eerie bond

I think the Tricou family was a cult of some sort, bcs many things about them is similar to both the jonestown massacre (lot of people dying), the heaven's gate cult (Fricorith dying of a satellite) and to the branch davidians in waco (Gvaudoin dying of fire, and John Smith looking similar to David Koresch and having lots of children) - But that's just my theory 😅

They really are an interesting family that I wish got talked about more. The Spanish theory was one I ran into while I was looking for reading material about them and it gave me a bit of a chuckle; like I said in the video, the theory in concept is interesting, but it had some information wrong, mainly getting Kvornan and Kiernan mixed up. And yeah, your video popped up in my recommendations when I was finishing up editing the theories section and I really enjoyed it! I learned some new things, mainly the possible name origins of them, and it was really interesting! Yeah, I got part 1 done before October and wanted to try and get this one done for October instead, but other stuff got in the way. Rather late than never! xD

I wish there was more :( This family is my favourite mystery in the series and it was seemingly forgotten about. Either that or they were deliberately kept mysterious, which admittedly adds to their charm, but we'll never know.

You really trying to burn my eardrums out at 9:00? You need to get better audio equipment. I enjoy you're theories and lore dives, but it's a chore listening to you.
I'm so sorry about that! I forgot about this portion of the video. I don't think I used an actual mic here, hence the buzzing/beeping, because the mic I was using before was in another room, and I just wanted to throw a quick note in while editing. I didn't know how to get rid of the sound (even with Audacity tutorials), and so I stupidly _upped the gain/volume_ because my voice was too quiet.
I'd love to get better audio equipment, but I can't exactly afford to (haven't been able to for years) right now. I do this as a hobby, so I'm just working with what I have for now. But I have been putting money to the side for a mic, it's just taking a while. I'm aiming to get a better mic early next year, at least, that's how it's looking. I'm trying to better my audio editing in the meantime.
Again, I'm sorry for the horrid noise at 9:00 . I somehow saw no issue with it at the time, but looking back, I should have just grabbed my normal mic and recorded the note. It still wouldn't have been the best but better than that.
