Many times the local hobby shops don't carry all of the stuff that Horizen does, and now that Horizen now ships to Canada, that's great.

I'm with you on that bottom loading battery access. I've got the Tenacity MT, when you get into the sand or certain dirts, the door gets stuck in the closed position. Aside from that, there's not much to complain about. Thanx for another great video, you two rock 👍👍

Pixelpeter Research these Losi Tenacity Rc’s and you’ll see they are junk. It’s not that the hobby shops sold out, it’s that they are discontinued because of quality issues with overheating motors, esc, and brittle plastics that break super easy. Worst Losi product ever!

I need help deciding on my next rc. I'm torn between the tenacity db pro or the arrma typhon 3s. Which is the most fun to drive?
Hey was just wondering, did you install the 12T pinion that comes with it to hit those top speeds ? I own the Tenacity SC , with a 12T pinion installed I only managed 47mph out of it on a 3s 5200mah 50c battery. 🤷🏻♂️
I'm new to Smart batteries and have a 3s 2200mah that's still at 3.9 each cell and hasn't changed for weeks? I thought it was supposed to discharge over time??

Lipos in my experience,only cuz of where I live lol will lag slightly after about -10c,but even at -30c I still find I get decent performance

What's up guys just wanna start out by saying that my wife and I love your Channel... We also bought the tenacity DB but we Installed the losi performance upgrade kit Basically turning it into the DB pro. The kit is only 99 bucks ya should look into it and make a video and give us a shout out...lol
Did you guys change the pinion to 12t when you switch to 3s beacause its in the manual?
Love your vids keep up the great content. I also have the db red and white version upgraded the servo to a savox 1258tg, swap plastic parts with the “losi PROformance kit” (actual spelling) change plastic steering to an aluminum steering by exotek. Change the tires to proline trenchers for more grip on the grass, had to dremel inside of the rim to stop it from rubbing against lower arms when turning. Still running stock esc and motor on 3s and this rig pulls on any terrain, soon will be upgrading to a max10 sct esc motor combo.
The Ford Fusion #4 ARCA car that Hailie Deegan well be driving this year is coming out in an RC version, you guys should do a review on it. Also congrats on reaching 200,000 subscribers, very deserving....

NitroGang here. I only want it with a nitro motor. My basic jato 3.3 is faster than that on a rich tune with 20% nitro. Good video though and good info. Thank you.

Does it need a fan on 3s? How warm does the motor get?
Is it possible that it could go faster with the AVC off? My rational here is that maybe while trying to keep stable, it might have automatically trimmed one or two mph? Probably not, but just a thought ;)

Just to clarify... The self-discharge feature of the smart batteries is disabled (off) from the factory and requires a smart charger to enable/configure it, right? I believe that is what I heard the Horizon Hobby guys say in one of their videos.
HOLD DOWN THE MODE BUTTON TO CHANGE IT TO MPH
Can’t tell for sure, but don’t they have the SkyRC GSM-010 unit? If so, the only way to change it to imperial units is via the computer software. The mode button method is for the GSM-015 model.
Of course, if they switch to MPH they’ll lose a bit of resolution since, to my knowledge, only whole numbers are displayed. Also - and more to the point - the metric snobs will start a never-ending boo bird parade. 🙄
Chad Pollman they linked the 15 model in the description they had “something” 5 and I think they do have the 10 they all look identical so I’m thinking they haven’t changed the software
Yeah, might as well go for the newer (and improved) 015 model unless the 010 is significantly cheaper. 015 version also receives GLONASS signals.
I have the 010 model, so I can confirm the mode button trick doesn’t work on it. 🙁
Chad Pollman I noticed that what is GLONASS I don’t know why they would buy one without MPH I bought one because of them and made sure it had MPH lol
GLONASS is the Russian version of GPS. The advantage of having a GPS device that receives the signals from both of those satellite networks is that it can track its location more precisely, reliably, and quickly than with GPS alone.
Just to clarify, the 010 model can be set to display MPH. It's just that you have to use their computer software to do it. 👍

Great share, very cool! Off subject but I have a question for anyone who may have some good suggestions. I'm going to soon upgrade my Traxxas Rustler(old school model 4x2) to brushless? Suggestions for motor, esc and I guess probably transmitter too? Rather not replace the transmitter but if need be so be it. Currently runs Titan 550 12turn brushed of course and esc programmed for lithium. What great but affordable options would anyone knowledgeable suggest? Preferably in the $100.00 or less range for brushless upgrade motor and esc if possible, transmitter excluded I can get that pretty cheap I know. Thanks in advance 🙋

Should I get the S2 or go right away for the S3 smart battery and change the gearing that comes with the vehicle? Also if you know how long does the battery last, should I get two? 60 is a good speed. Anything higher gets a bit risky and suicidal for an expensive rc car. High risk wreckage.

Wow that buggy is crazy fast. PS don't be a poor sport. Love your videos guys and gals. Winter is tough. Especially on Plastics. Up here in Massachusetts. The snow banks are great when we get snow. But it's been 50 degrees for the past week. If you can believe it. But it's better to run the cars around the neighborhood on the snow Banks when it's below freezing. You just have to take it easy. Because nothing is wet. Too cold to have water. Much better on electronics and your bearings and everything else. There's a happy medium. Never run your cars below 20 degrees though. Oh yeah and you're going to go through batteries like crazy. Also you are absolutely correct about charging the batteries. I will charge them thinking I'm going to use them tomorrow and then not go for a week. I think I needed that wake-up call I'm putting everything on storage mode as soon as I finish this message to you wonderful people. thank you for your videos you guys do a great job
