This sentence is only for Navarro not responding to the subpoenas. It is not for the other crimes. In addition, Navarro may be convicted of those other crimes and see more punishment.

It’s been that way for as long as I can remember and even longer. The justice system has always been biased to some extent. This goes back to before the existence of the United States.
However, if a judge goes too far, there can be consequences. 50 years ago, I was involved in a case in which the judge went too far and he ended up getting removed from the bench. There is a line, but it’s pretty far out.

Maybe it’s time that term limits are imposed on federal judges, including the Supreme Court, and not lifetime appointments. Based on current times behaviors by judges, they’re not likely to be impeached, terms limits are needed.
