Whats route grade?
I did the first ascent of this climb in sept 1969, the rusty stain on the crux is all that remains of a peg I used to overcome the difficulties encountered by these intrepid climbers, eliminated by subsequent more talented climbers than I. Heartwarming to see it being enjoyed so many years later. It is called Conger, because friends of mine were fishing off the ledge above and wrestling with a huge conger whilst I was wrestling with the crux.
This made my day. Such a classic route
