Hats off
I think the evening after this one was genuinely the most tired I’ve been in years
Out like a light! 😴
A big effort!
Very inspiring stuff, thank you for the hard work out there.
This is sick Toby. Tell everyone at storror we love em too
You smashed it Toby, super inspiring to see as someone that's just getting into climbing
Amazing work toby! This has me sweating more than free solo ahaha
Love your videos and love that you're a wide boyz enjoyer!
Cheers for tuning in. enjoy your vids, flipping hilarious
I'm already imagining I did a thing + Pete + Toby trying big walls with cams and nuts that I did a thing has made
@@abattisson Oh God please no
Wow I love your stuff on the boy boy channel
Loved the editing of showing Pete's reactions to Toby's protection right after placing! Good teachable moments.
Watched Storror for ages, Really dig seeing this bit with Toby. Not to mention discovering this incredible channel. Keep up the good work guys!
Appreciate you tuning in. Thanks 💪
yoo same
I started watching climbing videos and I was like "hmmm those british storror parkour guys have probably done some climbing stuff"
here I am 😆
i love watching climbing and love watching parkour, particularly Storror, so this is so sick
Love seeing Toby’s apprehension about the downclimb. I think that’s one of the most important skills to have but a lot of newer climbers underestimate how committing even “easy” downclimbs can feel. This series is totally sick, thanks for sharing!
yes down climbing is abit of an art in trad climbing which is essential. you use it all the time. thanks for tuning into the series :)
A buddy of mine always says "climbing up is the easy part, getting down again.....is a different story".
When I go hiking, I enjoy going uphill more. So I can't even imagine downclimbing!
@@WideBoyz I mean that down climb had some serius consequences if he fell too, Fuck the runout on that traverse looked scarry.
This is quality content in so many different levels.
The climbing looks amazing.
The shots look breathtaking.
Pete and Toby's exchange is really flipping insightful!
You don't often see videos of an experienced climber evaluating and giving their thought process on what the less experienced climber is doing.
To me the back and forth between Pete and Toby has been the best part.
I want to get into trad climbing but it's not as common where I live and I am having a hard time finding an experienced climber to show me the ropes, so this is the sort of content that helps a ton!
Agreed! The real-time reactions to all the placements was so cool!
Yes this, thank you Pete for this.
I feel like this type of content shouldn’t be free, it’s far too good.
Toby is such a legend for throwing himself into this, so humble and genuinely talented.
Pete I really hope this series is as successful as it deserves to be, great concept, perfectly executed.
Toby's stoke and the videos' editing are making this series freaking great.
And Pete sending a noob out on a sketchy traverse is just perfect cream on top.
I was expecting this series to be good, but this episode especially was on another level. Fantastic stuff guys!
I love the editing going back and forth from Toby's placements to Pete's commentary when he's cleaning. Great stuff!
I’ve gone from loving parkour, to loving bouldering, to loving this. Toby Segar has got to be one of the most influential and yet relatively unknown people about
This is the most amazing climbing series I've seen so far. It's not only great watching you two interact with each other, but you also make me feel like I'm right there with you in the wall. Just amazing makes me also want to do multipitch routes.
It’s cool how you could gauge Toby’s climbing ability and limit so well and really put him at the edge
Would like to give a shout out to the editing. Some clever cuts between both of you really gave this an additional dimension as a casual video. One of the few climbing series I find myself rewatching and rewatching.
Absolutely terrifying but amazing to see Toby taking on this insane challenge.
Absolute Respect for you guys doing this on a different level 👏 💯 🙏
Stay safe, stay Smart ♥️
Amazing job Toby! and amazing job Pete for the coaching, encouraging filming and editing!
and thanks for watching :)
Absolutely buzzing when Toby did the boulder section... the mental headgame to push through that was intense; the level he's at in such a short period of time is genuinely incredible. 🇦🇺
This series is one of the greatest i ve seen on CZcams. Thanks Pete and Toby - the collab is fantastic
Same!
Toby's mindset is truly the one thing that no one else has, and he appreciates it- there are no challenges his mind will decline, it's just if his body can handle it, and most of the time he can. Can I just say the conversation between Pete and Toby is the human part of these insane videos!
What strikes me most about this video series is what genuinely decent blokes Pete and Toby seem to be. Pundits on Mountain Project and Reddit are absolutely savage in trashing beginners' mistakes. Pete, by contrast, is constructive and supportive. Toby is good humored and genuinely open to a challenge. I love everything about these videos, and about Pete and Tom's stuff more generally. Can't wait to watch more!
The way your editing on these latest videos captures what real climbing feels like is amazing. Seriously - it's like so so so good. Not just the climbing but the way you've put it together Pete 11/10. Amazing job.
This series is so good I'd be surprised if it doesn't go viral. Great job guys and thanks for sharing your experiences (and all the prep, effort filming, editing etc etc.. massive respect)
The cuts are amazing between Toby's placements and your ratings. Love it! Very entertaining to watch.
That traverse section got my heart pumping. Loving this series
I've consumed an unhealthy amount of youtube over the years, and this was, by far, the best content I've seen. The jumping back and forth between Toby placing gear and Pete evaluating it was incredible.
Can't wait for the next episode!
These vids are so well done, Pete and Toby have great rapport too. I like the use of the fun music every time Pete is on then the tense music when it's Toby hahaha.
Really cool series and idea, can't wait for the next installment!
Yeah that's bloody great.
Brilliant editing Pete! Such a fun adventure to follow along, you guys are too much fun. Well done on the leads too Toby, what a legend
Never thought I’d get so interested and entertained by climbing but big fan of Toby and Storror who got me into parkour, and I’m absolutely loving all your collabs and watching someone learn to climb
Phenomenal, this should become a full series, you two work together on camera so well
Good series, love it! Just did my first multi pitches and gear placements so nice to relate. Toby is doing so good!
so good to hear, good luck with it all
I have really been enjoying the big wall videos on the channel. I love seeing the little explanations of how to do things as you are teaching Toby because it really gives a good impression of what climbing a big wall is like. I have just got into outdoor climbing with my wife and this definitely inspires me to one day get to the level of climbing a big wall.
That moment after Toby scraped past pitch 3 and realized he hadn’t reached the crux yet. 😅 The down climb looked scary AF and even with Toby’s parkour skills you could see it was messing with his mind. Great content! Keep it up
That was AMAZING! Highest quality all round. Smashing it!
This series has been the best climbing content I've watched on YT this year, probably.
i love the pure joy you can see on toby's face after he finishes a tough pitch
@20:22 that traverse and the downmantle bit was SCARY to watch! This series is so good!
Again, this is just fantastic viewing. Pete you are absolutely smashing the editing. Really enjoyed how after each gear placement it then panned to you reviewing it. Simultaneously amusing and educational as an inexperienced trad climber myself! Cannot get enough of this series!!!!
Toby knows the most important lesson already: If in doubt, run it out! Great series!
Another great episode! It looks so enjoyable and what a beautiful scene! I'm bouldering for a year now and just finished a toprope course yesterday. This seems soooo far away and I'm not sure I'll ever do a real wall. I've got huge respect for the emount of experience that make these endeavours safe. Not sure I'll ever commit to (trad) climbing enough to get that experience, but I am thankful that you are sharing your adventures. Best part is to see the happiness in Toby's face while overcoming his limits.
Pete Whittaker - what an amazing expert, calm approach and excellent teaching skills
Awesome! Can't wait for the rest of the series!
Brilliant series so far. I love how Toby's thoughtfulness to risk really comes through
Today's was so good. Looking forward to tomorrow's video
Intense!!! Had me sweating and gripped, but so pumped to see Toby improve. Fun to watch the camaraderie develop between you and Toby. Love this series!
Loving this series so far, Pete. So impressed with Toby - really is smashing it.
Loving film 2 even more than the first . Your attitude to climbing Pete is f🤬🤬king amazing. Toby is so cool and brilliantly honest
What an amazing series and collab this is turning into. Absolutely loved the way it was edited to show Toby smacking gear in all over the place and Pete checking it on his way up very fun video!
So cool to see Toby throw himself into this stuff. Great series of videos so far and can't wait for the next ones
Great video, I loved it! Toby is amazing, I was nervous and happy for him the whole time.
Love these two guys working through Toby's introduction... talk about jumping into the deep end... Ha!
Ohhhh Man! I absolutely love Toby, he's a top bloke. Cannot wait to see him give climbing a go, especially with you. Good stuff man
The editing is super good, the audio editing specifically where you take the different voice coms from each individual camera so that it's easier for us to hear the conversation. Amazing.
Also the climbing HOLY. That crux looked insane.
Really enjoying this series! Having just got into trad climbing this last year I can relate to so much of the experiences Toby is having, looking forward to part 3!
These escape challenges are about to be so much easier for swags. so sick man
Wow, that was incredibly thrilling to watch. You guys have such great chemistry. Can't wait for the rest of the episodes!
Brilliant series guys. Can't wait for the rest!
Absolutely fantastic series Pete! Has sparked back up some climbing motivation for sure.
Just incredible to see! Good job guys can't wait for the next one ♥️
This series has been amazing so far - as a long time fan of both channels it's a dream come true to see you guys together tackling some fantastic climbing to make some incredible content!
Only day two of the series, but this was an incredible idea for a video. We’ll done Pete and Toby, very much looking forward to the rest of it! Very inspiring!
This was incredibly fun to watch, amazing video, amazing series! Mad respect
Absolutely love these videos as I’ve been following Storror for an extremely long time and then found you guys through Toby! Great content 🤙🏼🤙🏼
That crux part for Toby... damn that was freaking awesome! Looked fun as hell, really well filmed and just look at how happy he was! Amazing series so far, best free pure climbing I've ever seen. Well done!
A new follower here from storror fam. Thanks for collabing with Bob otherwise i could never find this amazing channel. So authentic contents. Cheers mate 🙌
really enjoying the placement judgement !! Thank you , helps us all improve
loved the editing, toby placing the gear immediately followed by petes critique
The editing was fantastic on this one. This is such a good series!
Bloody well done, boys! The looks on Toby's face after the 4th pitch was something else. Amazing content Tom, truly amazing.
These episodes are amazing! You guys have such great chemistry! Really enjoyable to watch.
Such a great premise, I'm a big fan of parkour/Storror, previously only had a bit of experience/interest in climbing, but since you got Toby involved I've gotten way more into climbing IRL and content
These videos are so well done! You guys are smashing it
Such a great video! This captures what multipitching with your buddy is like so well.
This has been great viewing so far. Looking forward to the rest!
This is the real deal. Amazing and inspirational work from both of you. Thanks for sharing.
Love your vids ! Thanks Tom and Pete , much love , y’all have helped me thru allot of depressing nights
Hats off to Toby! Honestly what an incredible feat. I think I’d break down in tears on that horizontal traverse hahah
Two favorite athletes . . . who have a way of filling me with feelings of foreboding when climbing. 😮💨
I take my hat off to all of you for having the nerve and confidence to do this type of thing. Definitely takes the type that does extremely well under pressure.
The climbing is amazing and the scenery is breathtaking. Thanks for sharing lads. And @toby; what the actual!? Well done!
awesome stuff, so inspiring to see. keep up the fantastic work!
Just wanted to let you guys know i absolutely loved this video. I was on the edge of my seat. Such a great effort Toby! Respect!
These climbing videos showing the beautiful place your going to and the amazing perspectives of the wall are great to watch
Loving the content and production! Climb on, guys!
I am totally loving this series... its so awesome and it leaves me super psyched to do more multi pitch trad... brilliant.
This series is incredible. Love watching it. I’ve never led but my first outdoor climbing experience was trad and I was more pumped than ever
This is absolutely BREATHTAKING, I've been on the edge of my seet the all time !
❤ the chill vibe, friendship, great editing and shots.
Now I understand how you managed to bust out the solo at Swanage! You've been raising your game massively the last year Toby. Awesome to see you improving so much month to month.
Absolutely amazing stuff, great filming and editing. Keep it up and safe 😀
You take us on fantastic journeys. Breathtaking and beautiful.. also heart-stopping.
Loving the series lads! Got a good dynamic going. Hopefully heaps more of these videos in the future. It would be sick to have these two lads do an overnight climb. That’ll really blow Toby’s mind haha
The back and forth editing is on point! Some of those felt like a conversation even though you guys did not talk to each other
What an amazing episode! Really got the time to watch the raw climbing, and small relevant clips - found myself gripping the chair a couple times :D
So well produced, quality content!
Big ups Mr Segar for taking on the challenge, i bet he was in no lack of adrenaline throughout, haha :)
Awesome video, loved how you switched from Toby placing cams to Pete rating the placements.
I am in awe and fear at the same time watching this… deep respect, the quality of the video is amazing
Only day 2 and already a great serie! I'm learning a lot while watching those videos, good job!
The little cuts you did judging his placements are super good, it's one of the best ways for me to learn what makes a bomber placement and what could be better.
glad it was useful :)
I love this collab, Pete is such a nice guy and this whole idea is awesome
Loving this series. Well done Toby.
