Those brackets are sold separately!! My camera didnât record when I talked through them đ€
You just inspired me to make a quick van vid a work in progress lol đâ

Hi Lee. Great video as usual. Keep up the awesome work. Do you have a link to the mounting brackets that you've used please.
@@jasongreenwood9269
Hi Jason did you get a reply about mounting brackets?
Have you got a link for the brackets please
@SpyderLEE do you have a link to the brackets?
This is EXACTLY what I needed to see! My F45 awning was blown onto my roof by wind - I hadn't pegged the awning - and now I need to re-fit new brackets. Thanks boss!
Hmmm the brackets are supposed to go where labelled on the back of the awning as itâs structurally stronger there . You moved them in about 300mm The rear bracket is supposed to be cut to accommodate the pop top hinge .
Great video, i liked how you explained the 3 different bracket types for installation as i was scratching my head prior to watching video.
Keep up the videos mate.
Top Job as always Lee..
Just the video I was looking for, thank you
No problem. That awning is still going strong đ
Nice video as usual Lee, good to see you back in action, keep up the good work :)
Nice! What solar panel have you on the roof?
Good video glad your back đ. Just wondering do you get any wind noise from fitting that awning? Also whilst an here does your roof bars and panel create wind noise or whistle when driving on the motorway?
Cheers
Looks perfect. Keep going!
On the link for the awning it says âdelivered with standard installation bracketsâ what are they? Iâve tried a quick search but no joy.
What stops rain pissing down the gap between the awning and the slide door?
Looks solid! Where did you get those brackets from? Iâm after the same thing.
Great vid!!
Hope you're ok Lee? Did you fit the awning to the brackets straight away or did you wait till the sikaflex dried out? Cheers
Anyone know of any MR2 meets in south wales?
Keep it up Lee đ€
Nice one does this one have the safari room like an add on ect side and front zips ,,, looks good
Yes you can buy it as an add on. Not cheap though but looks good đ
Hi, i ordered the brackets from Heritage and looks like they are for a different model and they are not a perfect fit. Close but not perfect. Have you had any problems with them since fitting?
The lasr 2 bolts was it just line of sight with the pen marks n hope for best ?
Yeah, you can measure it up properly but I was too lazy to take the awning on and off. Iâm confident with my drilling. You can damage the thread if your not careful drilling it in place too.
Interesting video. Important to prepare the drilled holes and either paint them and/or use the sealant when applying riv nuts. Suggest touch up paint and some sealant on the drilled hole otherwise it will rust and worst case you will get water in. Second point is that mounting brackets in the video are not aligned with the fiamma recommended locations for adequate support. This is not a showstopper but an important consideration.
I thought the same. This will give me sleepless nightsđź
Did you have a look into buying the f35 pro for a more slimline look Iâm torn between this and the one you have bought
Iâm quite lazy so the 45 and being wind out suits me lol. And I wanted black. The 45 although itâs bulkier doesnât look out of place on the van. Especially now itâs been on there a while it suits it. If in the future you win the lottery the 45 has the privacy room you can buy for a ridiculous amount of money
SpyderLEE yeah thinking the same ease is better Iâll go for the same as you đ thanks
Thanks for the video. Was the rivet gun any good? Cheers
Yeah awning is still on and Ive used it for other stuff since đ
@@SpyderLEE thank you. Good to know.
One very important step is missing i think, you really should protect the clear metal before adding the revnut :)
Itâs been a while since you uploaded!!
Yeah few personal issues last year but hoping to get it regular again đ

Those things are so expensive I deceided to opt for he cheaper better looking roof light bars although they don't keep me dry wen it rains lol looks cool though bruv wish I had your patients & skills đâ
Yeah they arenât cheap but super fast and convenient. đ
long time no see, brother! what happened to the mr2?
Still got it. Got loads of plans for it this year.
@@SpyderLEE looking forward to seeing your vids man!
Whereâs mr2?? Long time no see SL!!
It was supposed to be an mr2 video today but didnât get chance to film it! Got a load of work happening on it this year đ
You still about not seen any new videos lately and still got the van ?
Yep still about. Still got the van. Been meaning to do a vid with everything Iâd do different building again. Hoping to start the vids again soon.
didn't you protect the drill hole against rust with zinc spray? this will start to rust very soon... not really intelligent
