Yeah, this is why I use Weight on this moveset. Sacred Sword damage has higher scaling and therefore, I stack with Weight. Also, if the enemy has a stun heavy team comp, then he is screwed. But other than that, his win rate actually did jump up now as this moveset actually is the highest winning one.

Is that hard to buff his defences in sword form and his hp? Unite move casting time is a joke at least!!! Aegislash problem is the transition between shield and sword form they have to buff sword form all defence stats or the defence stats from shield from dont disappear immediately after you press a button, they could last like 2 seconds and reduce the unite casting time or increase the width

Ehhhhhh, even though i mostly agree with this comment, giving sword from more defense feels like a dangerous thing to do depending on how much they buff it, the unite getting a buff feels like a safe bet though, since it's on the weaker side.
It would be nice if they gave Aegislash's unite move the lucario treatment and cut the casting time back. Would be fun to actually work it into your combo
That crustle trapping the opponents in your sacred sword aoe with rock tomb during early game was so satisfying lol.
I have had good results with sacred sword build lately. Also I carry a buddy barrier for the unite form 😂
If you use x attack in shield form then switch to sword form does that value transfer to his defense? Also do att weight stacks scored in shield form apply towards defense stats in sword form?
We need announcer packs in this game I want hear Cris go “get farmed” everytime someone gets a double kill or higher
While I wish it were better, I prefer full heal because these situations where being stunned out of a form change is a big RIP for Aegislash. His unite move is also kinda just moot. I’m surprised it’s not a short cooldown so that you could just throw it out haphazardly because of how whatever of a move it is. Instead of rewarding you a pitiful 2 stacks for a KO, the unite move should just max out your stacks on cast instead. Also, 4 stacks of autos is not enough!
You know an all rounder is too squishy if the best battle item is shedinja doll
I feel like no one knows that the shield form heals so much when you do basic attacks (with stacks)
I main Aegislash whole season and found it does not matter at all. The problem of Sacred sword was it’s just too slow. Yes the cooldown is shorter but it is still slow. I played it for a dozen of games then switched back to shadow claw. It’s way faster.
And its hit box is terrible too like it messes me up that i can't hit someone right in-front of me because if its hitbox
Do you use iron head or wide gaurd?
@@ZeoZephyr for me i always go SC and wide guard but since the iron head buffs i have been playing it with my friends if i get bored of wide guard but in solo q its impossible to play iron head
The whole thing about Sacred Sword is that it just deals ultimately more damage due to defense ignore. And of course it's more useful in teamfights (more boosted counters). So in return it has more cooldown. Shadow Claw gives you less boosted counters but has mobility and less cooldown and replaces guaranteed defense ignoring with random crits. It is that simple.
Sword mode = worst speedster shield mode = all rounder with 0 dmg nice balance

They need to increase its base def and sp def. I like the claw guard crit build
The problem with sacred sword is the hitbox. If the enemy is really close in your front it doesn't hit them
Metagross had this problem with Meteor Mash too. Except they released a patch to fix it. Timi shows they are more than capable but just ignore it.
They just need to buff aegislash early game, give it more bulk and attack early game as well as making the shadow sneak damage better. Aegislash is a mon whos stats are balanced around its passive but honedge and duoblade dont have that passive AND have terrible stats. I dont think this mon should be 4/6 because i think aegislash itself is incredible strong though
Also buff the unite i think aegislash has the single worst unite in the game. Reduce the casting time or give a ton of damage reduction

Long cast time /easy to miss /turn into sword mode. Only use for secure or after stun them with wide guard

@@CrisHeroesCris, or anyone at that, use the unite early in a fight or use it immediately after SS for the cc to more easily hit enemies and for ignoring some defense for additional damage. Then if you need to, wide guard right after, the 30% cdr it gives is ridiculously strong for Aegislash lol

On paper he seems so good, huge shields, good damage, good cc, but when you play him, it just doesn’t really work for some reason
To anyone who complains about "why dont you use the unite move??!!" Simple, it sucks, the qorst unite in the game by a longshot, imagine saying this dumb comment to lucario pre unite buff but imagine it has less defenses and its a way smaller hitbox and way shorter, thats what aegi's unite is
Agreed. It's objectively the worst Unite move in the game, but even then it is situationally useful. There were moments in the gameplay where the Unite move would've made sense.
Saying it's the worst so better not use it is like saying "I might as well hammer these nails with my hand, because I got the cheapest hammer on the market."
I hate watching you play sword, because you just refuse to click the damn ult every time you're in a big fight with enemies lined up

Dude again the unite has a huge casting time and you are in your sword form when you use it meaning you can die faster the moment you use it

Mostly because the unite is bad and has a long cast time - you typically die. But also, he did try to, but I believe he got stunned by tree unite since you see him pop up a little in the middle of the comfey unite. You see the little aiming line, but it doesnt come out from the stun.
It wouldn’t have changed a thing. In fact he would have just died 3 seconds sooner. Even so, you can still see him try to use it. Doing Sacred Sword as his last move had more value because at least the triangle does damage and throws them even if you’re KO’d before Aegislash dives; compared to the unite move which he’d end up being down before it even casts.
