When parking was free at Shoreham Port you wouldn’t have got a space at that time. When a new CEO came in a couple of years back he introduced pay parking for cars and trucks. It’s a lot of money for the facilities provided. Difficult to park elsewhere, local council closed the lorry park in nearby Southwick almost 5 years ago for redevelopment, it’s still empty!
What is wrong with people? Why would you go running in the dark, in dark clothing, they make running/cycling clothes specifically for this🤦🏻♂️

Re :- the sat-nav voice. I showed a friend my first sat-nav and he commented that he wouldn`t want one because he wasn`t having "some woman tell him where to go"! I showed him the settings menu and altered the voice to a male one. That made him a lot happier!

@LUKE C in a HGV, quick question do you have to buy your own ratchet straps ? And what kg rating do you use, I have been looking at 10,000kg ones.

I'm a bit curious about life on the road in the UK. Do you mainly prepare your meals ahead of time? Or do you eat out? Can you prepare hot meals (reheated) in the truck? Over here in the states, some trucks have microwaves. Other truckers use a 12v food heater. I love to see the videos of you traveling through the towns and villages. So different from over here it the states. I've loved my trips over to England with all the amazing history, beautiful old buildings, and countryside.
Mine has a microwave- I take some microwaveable means and I prep some others to reheat during my week away. A colleague of mine takes raw and fresh food, and cooks from scratch using a portable gas stove
When loading the timber i hope when you put the top.packs on you put timber bearers all the way across it helps the timber ride better dont just use the bearers on the packs
Never have. Don’t know of anyone who has either.
@@lukecinahgv was taught it over 30 years ago when doing flat bed work makes the four packs of timber ride miles better see ask any old hand who has done a lot of timber and they will tell you the same as with Not putting timbers all the way through the top packs will move a bit but with long bearers going all the way through they ride better as they say every day is a school day but half the time now you are not aloud to go on the trailer to do this anymore give it a go nxt time and see just a friendly bit of advice

For a driver, it appears that the times are vitally important. Therefore, it makes perfect sense for you to mention it a lot, As a non-driver, it gives me a better insight as to what you doing. So please keep doing what you are doing and ignore the moaners who will find anything to moan at. Most of them only have 1 brain cell and got lost on their way to Tiktok
That Apple video quality and blur is surprisingly awful in your videos.. Do you have some effects, HDR and corrections turned on? Supposed to be the best phone for video. (luckily I watch for the content)

I’ve lost one stone in the last two months. Concerning if you think I’m increasing.
So comment section of luke c. I am currently pondering weather or not to do automatic or manual drives lessons consodering most cars are automatic these days only problem is with sitting your diffrent styles of classification for driving is ot better to do the full manual course and get a driving licence in manual allowing you to drive automatics or stick with doing automatic only driving lessons and then in the future do trucking classification. Im not sure if your better of sticking with manual or going automatic will driving companies except a automatic only driving licence is the real question? Thabks for any advice fron you guys.

Ref that steel would it not have been better to have put some dunnage on it then straped it ? Could not see the angels though so maybe not ?? On fueling up i see that the catwalk was made cheap and cheerfull lol useing Plastic End Caps as opposed to welding? no pride in that job whoever made it, I like to see things made properly not bodged lol Maybe that why i have to do Everthing myself then i cannot find fault ???
