A lot of people expect the new dynamic to be like Schumacher and Barrichello but I expect something more akin to Raikkonen and Massa. Both very solid drivers who can have a shot at the championship in the right circumstances.

It's incredible to see Carlos' carrier in the last few years. When I started following motorsports he already drove for Renault and even then I really liked him for some reason before seeing what he can do at McLaren and before getting to know that his father is one if the best drivers ever and I'm not even Spanish. Even though I'm a Tifosi I was kinda sad that he was leaving McLaren because I really wanted to see him bring a World Championship to McLaren because they are in my eyes the biggest rivals Ferrari ever had and ever will have so seeing them do great and with one of my favourite drivers would be amazing. But this way he'll maybe bring a Championship to a team I actually support so can't complain 😅
Sad to see Vettel go but I’m glad it’s you that’s replacing him. I really hope they’ll still make vlogs at Ferrari though.

Bleak Midwinter ferrari have opened up alot in the past year. Look at charles streams or the fact they post memes on Twitter. Couldnt imagine anything like that happening a couple of years ago

Grande Carlos. Me enganche en la f1 en el 2019 y como es de esperarse, no tenía expectativas de nadie más allá de los campeones mundiales y al terminar la temporada me volví un fiel seguidor tuyo. Creo que estas sin dudas entre los 3 o 4 mejores pilotos y espero que ganas el campeonato mundial.

Since you speak about the Gs so much, would love for you to go on a fighter jet and get to experience those Gs and then compare them with F1's
Yeah, especially since with jets the g force is lateral instead of horizontal (I don’t think I’m using the correct word here).
TheBloodMango, actually just the opposite. In race cars, the forces are lateral, particularly in a format such as F1, where the track is flat. In a fighter, in a maneuver such a loop, the forces are vertical. Even in a tight horizontal turn, the forces are still vertical, because the wings are perpendicular to the ground, therefore a tight turn is essentially a loop on its side. The g forces are pushing you downward into the seat. Hope this helps.
@@davidmessina8108 true, but on jets they can be both though, right? I mean suppose the jet is going straight and then abruptly turns to the left: the moment the wings go from parallel to perpendicular to the ground the pilot will still experience horizontal G force but as soon as the jet will start turning it will be vertical as well. But suppose the jet just does loops on itself while going straight...that's still just horizontal and not vertical Gs
@@paodebatata91 The only way to experience lateral/horizontal Gs in a plane due to turning is when you yaw, i.e. turn the rudder. But as you said, you can experience 1 G laterally if the plane rolls 90 degrees, but that's like lying on the side on your bed. So you can't experience high lateral Gs in a plane basically, and it comes down to how little aerodynamical "grip" the rudder has compared to the flaps controlling pitch.
Using vertical and lateral/horizontal with the human body as the frame of reference here.
