David Fernandez Red Bull doesn't cares that his father was a famous driver. They chose him because he is very talented.
Famous fathers don't dictate on track results. Carlos is quick. Looking forward to seeing him and Hulkenburg fighting it out for Renault next year. Hopefully their car is a bit quicker than this year

Loved the part with the picture of Carlos as a kid. He met his hero, he was determined to reach F1, he achieved it and now he's competing against him. Incredible.

@@mzwierzycki Carlos accompanied Alonso during his last race with Ferrari because they were driving to a karting exhibition the next day. Carlos got to tag along and really see for himself what the team was like. Its in Alonso's documentary of his last race for Ferrari.

It must be so weird for them having to speak their secondary language when they’re both from the same place. I’m trying to imagine my friend and I speaking to each other in Spanish (our secondary language) even though we have always spoken to each other in English and it feels so weird/ forced 😂😂

I'm actually from spain, and I talk to all of my friends in english, even to my spanish friends, but when it comes to talking to family, it is so wierd talking to them in english. (If you couldn't tell, I hate the spanish language)

To be fair though, Alonso didn't have much of a childhood outside karting. He was karting since 3 and would spend most of his weekends going to Italy to compete in karting races.

I'm Dutch and my girlfriend is Spanish. You can guess this is a difficult situation every race weekend. But to be honest, Alonso is one of my favorite drivers of all time. Sainz is cool too. I hope the relationship between him and Max becomes better over the years. I can imagine it must have been tough for both of them.
