NC Humanities' Meet and Greet Reception: Music and Program

On September 14, 2022, North Carolina Humanities hosted a public Meet and Greet reception in Charlotte, NC to connect with the community and celebrate 50 years of service.
NC Humanities Executive Director Sherry Paula Watkins shared about the organization's current programs, 5-year strategic plan, and 2022 Large Grant recipients.
As a special treat, live music was performed throughout the night! Jazz musicians and NC Humanities trustees Todd Wright and Douglas Jackson, with vocalist and board chair Lorna Ricotta, shared their musical talents alongside local Charlotte musicians Noel Freidline, Matt Rybicki, and Rick Dior.
