North Carolina Reads is North Carolina Humanities’ statewide book club for 2024. North Carolina Reads features five books that explore issues of racial, social, and gender equity and the history and culture of North Carolina.

Brendan wrote a wonderful book and story, and one that people need to hear. I was not aware of the unique struggles in the world of classical music but was not surprised by it. Kudos for NC Humanities for bringing this to us.
