  • North Carolina Humanities held its North Carolina Stories Luncheon on October 20, 2023 in Charlotte, NC. Guests from across the state came to celebrate the rich cultural heritage of North Carolina over a shared meal together. The afternoon’s program culminated with the very special presentation of the 2023 John Tyler Caldwell Award for the Humanities to author, activist, and musician Clyde Edgerton. As a lifelong storyteller, Clyde gave guests a memorable musical performance.
