In Ireland we call spring onions Scallions
Beer food in Ireland is also known as lining.
You done us Irish proud with this one mate.🤣❤️
Commenting for the benefit of Fred's 3 course meal.
Full of salt and oil and chicken and grease.... That sounds like heaven!
Bag
That shot at 0:05 seconds was well worthy of a mic drop 😂👌🏻🙌🏻
Yep, getting things like that on camera is rare as tits on a bull, or a trans woman.
@caltravels9454 I don't understand why anyone would feel the need to inject hatred into what is a pretty wholesome video, but you do you I guess.
You seem to have become somewhat of a specialist in “camping hangover meals”. For that, my friend, I am eternally grateful!🤣
Salute 🫡
I’d not heard of an Irish Spice Bag before now after watching this I need one. We do heaps of camping and cooking on the fire, so definitely going to add this to our repertoire. Thanks for all your inspo Harry
Thank you for the inspiration, oily meal aside, the cooking over the fire bit and time spent outdoors is what makes it all awesome!
I can definitely wait in line at 3am and order one of these! Hope to 'bag' one of your books Harry!
Very interesting comments at the end, the spice 'bags' always look so good when you see them and i always thought they would be so bloody good, cheers.
Looks like I'm cooking a spice bag tonight! Looks so good! Thanks 👍
Good food, Good Drink you've got camping in the bag!!!!!Love it.
I'm from Ireland and I have to say, I'd be proud to eat a spice bag like that. Great job! Also, bag
Dont get it ova here mate aye
@shot2x Few places around Sydney do them.
Looks so good, loved the " bag"
Thanks for the honesty at the end; can’t be bothered deep frying normally let alone camping 🔥 Stainless steel water bottles are great for oil & vinegar etc. I originally got one for fish sauce because fish everywhere is never fun. You can get big ones for the large sized oil bottles. As much as I avoid using plastic normally, zip lock bags are great for camp cooking, save the mess.
Loving the concept, I'll be giving this bag meal a crack for sure. Cheers mate.
Absolutely love watching your clips. Feeling inspired to try some of your recipes. Bag🎉🎉🎉🎉🙏
That looks like it would be a wicked meal around camp. Something to just sit and pick at with a cold one.
Thanks for the honesty - I will remember it when I am tucking in despite the health warning 😂
The double bag is an absolute must as you drunkenly swerve through the sidewalks to ensure you don't rip it open and spill all over!. Looks great and can't wait for the next one!
Looks delicious. Would never of thought of the bottle shop BAG. Now I feel like beer too. 😂
Bag,,,another great cook up cheers for all the recipes
Anything served from a greasy brown paper bad has to be delicious hangover food. Looks amazing
I'd never heard of Irish Spice Bag before, thanks for making this.
That ‘bag’ looks amazing!
We love the green part of spring onions, carry ours wraped in paper towel in a bag. Keeps well
Best looking meal in a “bag “ ive ever seen
I want to make it this very minute
Congratulations from Dublin, Ireland 🇮🇪! Great first effort. Next time use black bean sauce!!!!

Opening the Bag did it all. Bloody hungry mate. Looks so good.
Beautiful Bag!
just had a spice bag a few days ago, was back there for a funeral. They are yum
Great video! Never actually had a spice bag but it reminds me of the “3 in 1” back home (Ireland) that I used to get in our local Chinese takeaway. Fried rice, chips & curry sauce all together in a plastic container with a fork. After a few pints you’d devour it!!!Thanks for the videos.
OMG. Alongside brown sauce and salad cream that is such a British Isles dish.
Knocked it into the Bag ! Really looked yummy. Love the batter on the chicken - gotta give it a go :)
"Double bagging" looks a treat 👌
Harry you old bag, that was awesome. I haven’t been able to find one in Brissy so I’m going to take your lead and make one.
Would love to bag a copy of your book. Thanks mate.

I just made this and have to say it was worth the effort but then again I'm not hungover 🤣🤣
@@dannyleonard9085 heard it goes well with 1 beer🫣😂
Was lucky enough to hold out until I visited Dublin to try a Spice Bag for the first time. My host was amused I even wanted to try it but humoured me anyway and it was as you say, the perfect post beer food.
Yours looked excellent and I'm sure you will cook it again sometime soon!
Great vid mate. Reckon that bag would go well with a CBCO Porter. Misso was craving the curry sauce as a Pom.
Bag!!!! Well done mate!!
A true bag of joy 👍
The bag must make it so good.

Great meal in a bag
Hey Harry you certainly got that one in the bag buddy 😊
Mate, I need that bag in my life right now
Giz a bag Harry!!! This looks mental!!!
Pretty impressive coming from a fire on the floor!
Fantastic effort, doubt you would be capable of some of that if you were hungover or inebriated. Nailed the brief though, love that you put the oil in a drink bottle then pull out the 3lt container to fill the skillet.
Nice brown paper bag meal.
Looking forward to Fred's feast
Love the way you tear that "bag" open to reveal that awesome feed
just a tip mate, you can buy McDonnells curry sauce which is very similar to the real thing, we have in Ireland. Certain coles have it in the international section.
