- Today we have arrived in the beautiful Kotor in Montenegro. What amazing views this morning as we sailed in. Well worth setting the alarm! You certainly wouldn't want to miss it!
We had an excursion booked today to Budva which was a historic old walled city. We have to say as we were driven there you could see the beauty of Montenegro. Then after a walk around the town including a walk along the beach (and a quick toe dip in the Adriatic sea) it was time to head back.
Before getting back on board though, we had a quick walk into the old town of Kotor which was literally 5 minutes from the ship. What a beautiful walled town and well worth a visit to have a look around.
Time then to head back on board, grab a drink and then get ready for dinner. We had booked into a speciality restaurant tonight, The Beach Cove. What amazing food....certainly filled us up!
At least we have a sea day tomorrow so we can recover!
Thanks for the video ( so beautiful there in Kotor I'm really excited about going there as our itinerary originally was going to Bar? in Montenegro so this is bonus we can visit. Thanks once again guys xxx

I love it that you included the stray cats in your video. I have such compassion for animals that I see while on holiday. I just went to Palermo and lasted 20 mins, at the dock were many horses and carts trying fight for tourists and it was beyond disgusting and cruel. They are worked to death. I was so distraught at the sight of those poor thin horses, that I returned to the ship. I don't know why Tui actually chooses these ports that have animal cruelty on display the second you go ashore, yet when I mentioned this to one of the top officers, he said "no one else has ever complained"!😳!! I doubt that!!
There were so many from my ship, that thought it would be fun to get on these carriages - just awful in my view. Tui and other cruse liners, supply these monsters that use animals as entertainment for money. Its about time they had some ethics!!!!

I visited Kotor on Thompson (Marella) cruises some years ago, One of the most fantastic places I have been to. On the cruise down the 'most southerly fjord' in the world, I sat in the lounge at the front of the ship and it was too beautiful even go describe. A 'must' place to go to for all cruisers. I feel very blessed that I was able to cruise and have this wonderful experience. Love your videos.

What trip is this? We are sailing on 12/07 and visit Kotor on our 2nd week. X
The trip was a day trip to Budva it was absolutely amazing highly recommend it
