Marella Explorer 2 Adriatic Cruise - Ancona Italy

Come and join us today as we are on our last Italian stop before heading back to Croatia. We are in Ancona on the coast of Italy. We did not book an excursion here as we wanted a more relaxed day. So after a chilled morning we headed off the ship for a walk about. We had a wander about the streets near the ship before heading through a square to a main street. A bit of a walk but it was so worth it! At the end was an amazing monument overlooking the coast. After looking around we then headed down the stairs to the beach. What a beautiful place! Coming back up from the beach was not quite so much fun as the lift was not working and so back up the stairs!! Then back to the ship to relax. It was then time to say goodbye to Italy and head back across the Adriatic Sea to Croatia. Come and join us in Split tomorrow.

Great video :) do you think (with hindsight) there's a quicker route to find the lovely monument by the sea? We're going on a cruise next week that calls at Ancona, your video has been a great help, thank you :)

Hi, I don’t think you could go wrong with any of them we loved the waterfalls in Zadar and the castle in Slovenia. Have an absolutely amazing trip we loved this cruise.
