We set sail on our own voyage of discovery, hopping on a local bus from the Dubrovnik cruise port straight into the heart of the Old City for a mere 3 euros each! 🚌💨
Stepping foot outside the bus, we were greeted by the majestic walls of Dubrovnik's Old Town, and with tickets in hand (35 euros each, folks!), we embarked on a breathtaking journey atop the city walls. 🏰 From the iconic Pile Gate to the awe-inspiring Fort Lovrijenac, every step was a snapshot of history, a tapestry of sights that left us spellbound.
As we strolled along the ancient fortifications, we marveled at the panoramic views of Dubrovnik's West Harbour, the shimmering waters below calling out like a siren's song. Our adventure continued through the labyrinthine streets of the Old Town, where each corner held a new treasure waiting to be discovered. 🗝️✨
But all that exploring works up an appetite, doesn't it? Fear not, for we stumbled upon the delightful "Gusta Me" restaurant, perched overlooking the harbor and offering a tantalizing feast for the senses. From mouthwatering calamari to heavenly local brews, every bite was a symphony of flavors that left us craving more. 🍤🍻

how there how far is it by bus from Dubrovnik, Croatia to the Marella Explorer 2

Hi there, distance I’m not to sure, but time wise on the bus, public transport it was about 15 to 20 minutes, it was about €3 each way, the bus stop is right outside the cruise terminal. The main issue is the amount of traffic, to much traffic for the roads, the roads are only single lane and on the way back from the Dubrovnik to the cruise terminal is was slightly longer, probably 25 to 30 minutes, the buses are very overcrowded and we had to stand up on the bus both ways with lots of people also stood up and sat down on the bus, if there are a few of you, it might work out cheaper getting a taxi, if the roads were not busy with so much traffic it would probably only take 10 to 15 minutes on public transport. 👍🛳️🐑
