Hi, thank you for you comment, so sorry it taken me time to get back to you with an answer 😀, the experience was fantastic. The walk around the cave is quite a long time, about 1 hour, it might even be almost two hours. You can take your time and go at your own pace or walk round quickly. You get a lot of time. You can walk around on your own, that’s what we did, then after the cave we went for a meal. You enter the cave as a group but once you are in the cave you can do your own thing. It is huge, it’s hard to put into words the shear size of the caves. It’s well worth doing. Hope you have a wonderful time l. 🛳️😀👍

That’s fantastic and I bet you are very excited, I always like to help, I forgot to mention, take a hoodie, thin jacket or a cardigan when doing the caves, the temperature drops when you are inside, it gets cold, I stupidly forgot mine so I wrapped a towel around me! Not only did the room vibrate ,there was a sound similar to dripping water, as a plumber it would drive me mad and wake me up !

The three places we visited would be to far and a lot farther from than we would feel comfortable organising on our own from the cruise ship port. You could do what we did pay for the excursion and leave the tour guide and walk around on your own. Just find out at what time and where you need to meet. I wish we would have had slightly more time but we would highly recommend it. 👍😀🛳️

Sorry I thought this comment was for the Italy vlog I just posted. My Valletta in Malta, you can do this on your own. It’s not far to the centre if you take the lift up to the main strip which is by the gun cannons. If we go again we will do this day on our own. 😛😀🛳️✈️

We are alike, we were always up early, 5 or 6am most mornings, the coffee port was always our first port of call, think it opens at 7am each morning, you can stay and have a coffee, or mention you would like to take it away and there will put your drink in a paper cup. Thank you for the nice comment, it really helps, so happy my vlogs have helped, puts a smile on my face. 👍😀

@@CruiseTravelAndExplore it’s unbelievable how much time it takes to produce a CZcams video and to learn all the different apps etc. Motivation also plays a part, I’m putting off finishing an Arvia ship tour and managing to find other things to do 😂 as I know it’s going to take a while.

Maybe one day Scott, was very lucky and visited Lanzarote about 18 years ago with my family, we had a fantastic holiday, so much so my family returned 👍✈️

Hi there, distance I’m not to sure, but time wise on the bus, public transport it was about 15 to 20 minutes, it was about €3 each way, the bus stop is right outside the cruise terminal. The main issue is the amount of traffic, to much traffic for the roads, the roads are only single lane and on the way back from the Dubrovnik to the cruise terminal is was slightly longer, probably 25 to 30 minutes, the buses are very overcrowded and we had to stand up on the bus both ways with lots of people also stood up and sat down on the bus, if there are a few of you, it might work out cheaper getting a taxi, if the roads were not busy with so much traffic it would probably only take 10 to 15 minutes on public transport. 👍🛳️🐑

Hi Paul, thank you for watching the vlog, it means a lot. You can ask away, all questions are welcome. While on the Marella Cruise we didn’t play any of the casino games, sorry so I’m not sure on that. When you first board the ship you can register a credit card or debit card on your cruise cabin card, so anytime you purchase something, casino, duty free, shops, ice cream, additional items at the coffee port it just goes on your cabin card and at the end of the cruise it’s then automatically charged to your credit card or debit card, I hope this helps 👍🛳️😀

Your are 100% spot on about how CZcamsrs develop from there first Vlogs, I like watching people’s first vlogs as it helps you with your confidence, my partner says I’m really brave as I’ve jumped in at the deep end and talking straight away which it takes most travel bloggers years before they do that. I really struggled with the talking and being very self conscious filming, I still am but my vlogs will definitely get much better. @@CruiseTravelAndExplore oooh, Italy is stunning, you’ll both love it and the best way to see Italy is from a boat/cruise ship because the coastline is stunning. We haven’t been to Lake Garda but it looks so picturesque and we want to go at some point. We’ve been to Sorrento, Positano and round the coast line from there to Nerano. This year we have booked our second cruise on Tui’s Marella Explorer 2 doing the Greek Mystique. We have always wanted to see Greece so it will give us an idea of which parts we prefer. That’s later 2024. I think the next cruise we might try a Princess Cruise, Celebrity X or P&O 🤷🏻‍♀️🚢 Look forward to hearing all about your cruise and what you think of Lake Garda 🛳️🪝

The Greek cruise sounds good, we would also like to do this as well, maybe with Marella or Virgin Voyages, it all depends on how the prices are. Which was your favourite part of Italy? Only 14 weeks until Lake Garda ✈️🍾👍🥂

@@CruiseTravelAndExplore It’s our first time cruising on One of the Marella ships, Marella Explorer 2 so will let you know what it’s like. We love Sorrento and just up the hill is Sant Agata which is where Hotel De Golfi is that we stayed at and it over looks the Volcano Vesuvius. From there you can catch a bus that takes you to a small cove in Nerano. We stayed at the Punta Campanella resort and spa Hotel which has a roof top terrace. You can catch a train to Pompei too! From Sorrento you can get the catamaran over to Capri. There is so much to see and do. Hope some of that is of help to you. Happy holiday’s 🇬🇧

Great comment and detailed, we booked 75% of our excursions through TUI, the ones where we were not far from the ports we did ourselves. We like the reassurance that if late from an excursion the ship would not leave without us when booking a trip through the cruise company you are with. There are downsides to that too which are overpriced excursion costs, large numbers and shorter excursion times. But as mentioned there are advantages to. I think if your excursion destination is a long way from the port and you are not in port for longer 6+ hours then I would book through the cruise company, it all depends how confident you all 😄👍🛳️

Hi Carole, what a loverly comment, thank you so much, this really put a big smile on our faces 😃, the camera is a Insta 360 x 3, this vlog was the first time I used it, I spent about 20 minutes before the holiday learning the functions and settings etc. It's amazing, it's my new toy and I so wish I had this on our past holidays, the stick is always invisible, even when taking photographs. I'm getting better footage now as I've been using for about 2 months now, wish I could go back and film it again, I need to tell the story more with the filming, but as my vlogs go on the filming and vlogs are getting better, it's a steep learning curve lol. Your vlog sealed the deal🎉🎊🌟 I found the right equipment on Amazon just researching myself so I was amazed I was right, also you mentioned you can take photos with it which wasn’t clear on the product details. I love the look and idea of it but I have to say I was getting a bit lost on their video showing how it works with press button 3 times, wait tor green light, press and hold 3 seconds for green light to go steady. Push this, hold that etc I was thinking I’m not going to remember all this! Is it complicated? Plus, I work on an iPad so I’m not sure what it’s stored on and how to transfer onto my iPad 🥴🤪 I’m sure I would figure it out…once I save up for one!😂 Any way just wanted you to know you helped make a cruise sale today. The camera is easy once you have spent a couple of hours playing around with it, plus my advice is search on CZcams for insta360x3 for help and advice, I did this before I went on my cruise so I had all the setting how I wanted them.
