Marella Cruises | Bar, Montenegro | Marella Explorer 2 | Sail Three Seas & Adriatic Affair | Day 14

Hello, fellow travelers! 🌍
Today marks Day 14 of our incredible 15-day cruise aboard the stunning Marella Explorer 2. After an amazing day yesterday in Corfu Town, Corfu, Greece, we are now docked in the picturesque town of Bar, Montenegro. 🇲🇪✨

Today's vlog is all about our amazing excursion to Stari Bar, Montenegro, booked through Marella Cruises. This half-day trip cost just £28.00 each and lasted around 4 to 5 hours, including a comfortable 30-minute coach transfer from the cruise terminal, Bar, Montenegro. 🚌✨
Stari Bar is a treasure trove of history and stunning views! For just 5 euros, we explored the Fortress Old, a site rich with fascinating landmarks such as the Amphitheatre, Bishop's Palace, Princes' Palace, Clock Tower, Turkish Bath, Saint Catherine's Church, Creative Hub Bar, Church of St John the Baptist, Church of Saint Veneranda, Ruins of the Church of St. George, and the Citadel. The views over the mountains are simply breathtaking and well worth the entry fee. 🏰🌄
After our fortress tour, we relaxed with some cold beers at Club 085, a charming local bar just outside the entrance. Then, we strolled back through the main street and enjoyed an incredible meal at Konoba Bedem, where we savoured delicious pomegranate wine and beer. 🍷🍻 The food and drinks were out of this world!
Back on the Marella Explorer 2, we had a blast playing bingo at the Broadway Show Lounge on Deck 6. Although we didn’t win, the fun and camaraderie were priceless! A book a tickets was just £5. 🎉
For our last evening meal before disembarking at Dubrovnik, Croatia, we dined at Vista, the Italian restaurant on Deck 5. While we usually love the food here, this time it was a bit underwhelming. Nonetheless, it was a great way to cap off our journey. 🍝
Before our excursion, I took a walk around the ship to give you a tour of some key areas:

Deck 6: Flutes and Kora La
Deck 7: The 19th Hole
We ended our evening with drinks at the Squid & Anchor and the Gin & Whisky Bar on Deck 7. 🍹🥃
