- Vivek Agnihotri's directorial venture, The Kashmir Files is in the theatres now. The film director and cast had an exclusive interview with Aajtak on Tuesday. The film tells the true story of brutal sufferings endured by Kashmiri Pandits in 1990, during the Kashmir insurgency. The Kashmir Files' cast features Anupam Kher as Pushkarnath, Mithun Chakraborty as Brahma Dutt, Pallavi Joshi as Radhika Menon. Anupam Kher shared about the pain of Kashmiri pandits.

We must create donation and also ask bjp government to compensate each Kashmiri pandit with 5 crores atleast and help resettle them with full security in their old houses. Anupam kher and director sir should shift permanently to Kashmir first to give encouragement to other kashmiri pandits! Then we can admire them more. Superb movie!

इससें ज्यादा शूद्रों पर अत्याचार हुये है उन पर एक मूवी बनी ( जय भीम ) तो यही ऊचे कास्ट वाले सिनेमा हाल मे लगने नहीं दिये दर्द सबका एक जैसा होता मै इनके दर्द को मानती हुँ क्या ऐ हमारा साथ देगे कभी नहीं देगे फिर भी सरकार इनकी मदद करें इनके दर्द मे हम शामिल है 👏👏

I heard all this in 2003 while stated with 15 Kashmiri girls in pune.. They had explained.. In fact their parents are happy in case their kids are doing studies outside and away from parents they feel their kids will be alive at least.

I watched the movie on 12th March 2022 and shocked to see the bitter truth,and couldent control my emotions and crying all the time with pain and with anger also.At the time Jan 1990 when this happened i was just 27 years and today when i watched the movie i am 59 years old and it came to me after 32 years its really shamefull.Thanks to Ranjan sir,Anupamji, Pallaviji all the other actors and team Ranjan sir you have done a great job and you dont know at the time of making this film but now you all are the part of making a new United India,God bless you all

It would be much better if we focus on what can be done next objectively. I am sure neither me nor you want any innocent people to suffer for this. There are quite a number of Muslims in the world who are good human beings. That being said, not to take the spotlight away from where it should be, Kashmiri Pandits, there's no imagining what those poor poor souls went through. Hope they find meaningful justice

Krishna Pandit's character represents the average Indian very well. First he did not know Kashmiri Pandits faced such a problem, then he went onto a denial mode thanks to the people he was associated with (JNU) and finally he figured out the truth. Hopefully every Indian gets to the final stage of realization soon.

I can't imagine the pain Kashmiri Pandits had went through..... It is such a shame on the then government who were silent when this genocide occured. मैं द कश्मीर फाइल्स फिल्म को देखकर रो पड़ा की मेरे देश मे इस प्रकार कश्मीरि पण्डितों का नरसंहार , उनके बहू बेटियों के साथ घिनौने कार्य एवं छोटे छोटे बच्चों की भी हत्याएं की गयीं इसलिए मैं भारत सरकार से मांग करता हूँ कि उस समय के जम्मू कश्मीर की मुख्यमंत्री , पुलिस अधिकारीयों एवं जो भी दोषी है उस पर अपराधिक मुकदमा धारा 302 चलाकर इनको फांसी की सजा दी जाय ।

Gem of a movie! Happiness shared gets doubled. Pain and sadness if shared get halved. Our Kashmiri Pandit brethren shall now be feeling the cathartic effect of getting relieved from the pain that's suppressed hitherto as the nation resonates with the carpeted truth unfolding dumbfounding the big whigs of various so called Woods in conjunction with the empathy from the Hindu diaspora world over. And what's more dramatic than life! It coincides with the decimation of the then culprit in power only waiting to be totally annihilated. Satyam Shivam Sundaram. Let's wait and watch the doctrine of Karma coming into full operation.
