    I just bought a 2020 GLE 450 with most options you showed. Agreed w all. It is powerful but still comfy. In comfort mode maybe a bit too cushy. But I still love it. Everyone mentions the AIRMATIC and it can lower to put things in it. Actually it’s even more practical when you enter parking lots and other spaces that are steep and sloped. Put car on HIGH and you won’t scrape your front end.

      How much does it cost with the upgrades? Because all he said was stock prices

    • @officesuperhero9611
      @officesuperhero9611 Před 4 lety

      Baas Jan My msrp was $81,000. Base price for gle 450 is near $62,000. So I added about $20,000 in options. The prices are on Mercedes website. But like the airmatic suspension, that alone was $1700.

    Thank you for sharing the acoustic and insulation package experience, sounds lovely! Nice and calming but still good power from the v6. This is the one for me...with tan leather and a walnut steering wheel. Ow ow!

    You should have mentioned how much the GLE 450 that you drove cost with all those options. Base prices for any of the brands that you did mention, is meaningless!

    I'd take this GLE 450 over its competitors, and you are so right about the white part of the seats. The GLE 450 would look amazing with circuit red seats, I enjoy your reviews. Will you be reviewing a VW Atlas Cross Sport soon?

  • @markgullion1300
    @markgullion1300 Před 3 lety +1

    Very nice video. I think the ventilated white seats will be harder to keep than the rear non vent seats actually. The holes will collect dirt and you'll have polka dotted seats.

    Nice video as always! But all i heard is the word options... so starting is $62,000 but to buy it the way a normal person would is +++ and more +

    this is more like reading out specs and packages added to this model, which honestly is useless. reading out MPGs from spec sheet is just a cherry on the cake..since it is not same as real world MPGs.
    //Drive the car, gather data, have some own opinion then make video, otherwise it is waste of viewers time.

    Finally found a review of GLE on youtube without the 3rd row but he didn't mention if this comes with a spare wheel or not.

    • @charlottehiker
      @charlottehiker Před 3 lety

      I test drove the 53 AMG version last week. No third row and no spare wheel. Had run flat tires and came with some sealant and a pump.

    • @m4st3rm1nd9
      @m4st3rm1nd9 Před 3 lety

      @@charlottehiker that’s disappointing. I thought the 2 row version had a spare.

    • @charlottehiker
      @charlottehiker Před 3 lety +1

      @@m4st3rm1nd9 Maybe the 450 does? They didn't have any at my local dealer. The spare would be helpful in a lot of ways. No need for hard, run flat tires. Then there would be less of a need for the expensive air suspension option that mitigates those hard run-flat tires. Sigh.

    What a stupid remark.. I don’t know it has running boards it’s not that high!! So you have young children and elderly parents, how you gonna get them onboard. Not everyone is young and 6ft tall. A good reviewer takes everyone into account when doing a review, let’s hope he dosent retrain as a Para medic or else everyone else but himself will have problems

    • @cooljool1

    Do we need YOUR OPINION on the Seats Color? And Again your OPINION on the 3rd row Seat. Because you may not have a family you haul with friends occasionally the 3rd row is always good to have in a pinch!

    This vehicle makes no sense. So much was of resources and engineering for a complex turbo hybrid. Look at the engine bay, how can any one ever work on it? If you want to be progressive get a Tesla model X. If you want ICE get a turbo six cylinder X5 or a Grand Cherokee.

    • @brjha
      @brjha Před 4 lety +3

      have you worked on a Mercedes? You are contradicting yourself; the X5 has a turbo straight 6 much like the GLE and the current Grand Cherokee is the same as the last generation GLE/ M class.
