I drive a 2023 X5 and even I have to admit that, compared to the LCI interior with that horrendous slab of a screen just plonked on the dash as well as basically a vinyl interior devoid of physical controls, the GLE interior is better - despite it looking like a yacht. For my money the pre-LCI X5/X6 had the best interior: purposeful design with a good balance of real buttons and screens with no capacitive touch nonsense. In my country we also had much better engine choices with the pre-LCI. 😢
Thanks for the review - gorgeous car overall, though the styling is reminiscent of Hyundai from a few decades ago - very “aquatic” themed - fishy droopy lines outside and yacht styling inside.

450 is better base on what? How is the Benz Reliability, Expensive A and B schedule oil changes, handling, and horsepower?
Needs chrome and high gloss wood trim and real leather . Over $100 K in Canada 🇨🇦Needs air ride suspension
The model you are showing in this video does not have leather seats. It’s MBTex. They don’t all come with actual leather and interiors… That’s an upgrade.
It also needs hud, fragrance, distronic, and adaptive headlights..... like mine in pinacle trim emerald green!
What are various colors available?
Go with the 21” AMG wheels - skip the stock 19s and the AMG 20s

Would you recommend a similar equipped 2024 X5 40i or the GLE 450. The X5 seems less expensive by around 6-7k.

The x5 looks n drives soo much better n on top why did mercedes but s 4 banger in the base smh x5 still 3.0 in its base with 375 hp n good mpgs 😂😂 its a no brainer
I hate the new daylight lights so much. It looks boring af. I asked an engineer at Merc dealership why did this new boring light got approved and surprising most of them hate it. It looked bad when i saw both in person. We got the 2023 model. And I'm an aesthetic person.

Can't stand the door trim. Looks like cheap chrome covered plastic from the 1950s. Lazy design.
