I was fortunate enough to see Peter Gabriel years ago on his "Us" tour. Every song was a theatrical performance. I came away feeling emotionally drained (in a good way). Of course, this was the encore.
near the end....Mr Donnie or ? had a solo on the piano. I saw it live in Palm Springs and thought it was some kind of mistake then I saw it on a video from LA and on this one. WTF is that supposed to be. This is one of my favorite songs of all time but what was that?
I saw the concert in Verona (italy), live, and I thought the piano attack was transposed wrongly. Instead it turns out to be an intended arrangement. I don't like it at all.
Hate to say this. My husband spent a fortune for tix to see this concert - every special pass, etc. (bought for my birthday). We've seen a lot of concerts over the last 35 yrs. In fact, we were just there in June to see Anita Baker (which was TERRIFIC!). This had to have the worst vibe I have ever experienced. Peter seemed either tired, depressed, bored, all of the above. Secondly, the overt Masonic imagery is no longer a big secret - so basically he advertises that he is a Satanist. The days they are a changin' - the Big Truth Reveal is about to unfold. THE blood of the innocents cries from the ground for justice. And Justice is on its way.
