There are a bunch of different strategy's for Halo wars and specifically tank rushing. I made this strategy back when I used to compete for cash.
The most used and 2nd fastest tank rush is 3 supply pads, 2 reactors, upgrade base and then make a vehicle depot.
If you perform this strategy correctly and effectively, it can help your team over power or quickly defeat you opponent.
In this strategy, you will use Sargent Forge.

Used to love using ODST drop pods for my boys. Underrated Halo game
7:00 into the game and not even approaching an enemy base. Id rather just have the 4th tank and no stars. If the star gives 15% boost then three tanks with a star is equal to 45% ... Why not just make another tank?
While the argument makes sense, it’s not true
1 star on each tank gives a TOTAL of 15% output on the damage of the lot.
1 additional tank gives 33% more dmg than 3 thanks
The math is wrong, you see if the 3 tanks have 1 star meaning each tank has 15% bonus to damage than means the total damage output of the 3 tanks will increase 15% , in the other hand if you make 1 more tank well you het 100% more damage for than 1 tank but for the entire damage output it would be 33.33% more damage
Let me explain a little more how those %bonuses work, for example a fully upgraded scorpion tank will do 25% more damage than an unupgraded one so than means 4 power turret tanks are equal to 5 unupgraded tanks as in total damage output

I make 4 supply pads then 2 reactors then just build as many scorpians as I can, its not a rush I know but its very good for teasing enemy bases

yes this is a normal AI game but its not about the game its just a easy way to show novice players how to not get trashed early game i use tacts like this with all leaders tanks with forge n anders miltary with cutter hunter jackle combos with the covy leaders works great is u destory there scout n supplt depos thn u can build up without wurryin a bout rushes. good demo dude

I have a best strat ever (for unsc) play as Prof Anders build 1 supply pad 1 reactor 3 supply pads start making warthugs and rush but before rushing have a gunner upgrade done DO NOT upgrade your supply pads and ALWAYS make warthugs like that you'll be able to win in about 9 min

unless you go 1suply 1 reactor and 1 barracks and spam infnatry and upgrade them you should be fine against this rush.

Please keep in mind, this is the fastest tank rush, not the smartest. Ive played with hundreds of people who challenge me and loose horribly because they expect me to do certain things. I do forge, 2 supply, reactor, another supply, reactor, depot, and then the last supply. not. good for getting cannie tanks fast unless you save for another reactor upgrade or get another base. I don't use unsc anymore so if I do this is what I do

I find playing as Cutter to tank rush is much easier. I go supply pad, reactor, supply pad, reactor, supply pad, depot. I'll usually attack with two, maybe three, tanks in solo and three in doubles.
I use that strategy often as well. I like it considering it gives a solid production basis as well as defense while being pushed. This specific video was just to show the absolute fastest way to rush with tanks with no assistance. My GT is Synpie if you would like to play sometime.

This rush will set you up for failure economy wise. If someone did this against me I would shut it down. You need at least 3 pads to pump tanks. It is a good thought though.
I can be a bit smarter if you use it to claim the extra bases early on and use those bases as economy bases. Then keeping you vetern tanks at your base to defend. Then maybe quick get some spartans in there to level them up.
@@IsaiasSoldier2 That shit is impossible in legendary difficulty. By 6 mins, the bastards are already attacking with either cyclops or hawks before you could get to make another base for economy handling
@@martinlopez2816 gotta be smart with your units and movement, which is why i said to use the tanks to claim based but also defend you. Legendary difficulty is easy for me. Ive done the Auto difficulty and managed to have that get placed higher than legendary. Just gotta be smart while also not waste a single second.

@@martinlopez2816 I dunno man I used to think they were impossible but I finally got a hang of it. You have to be doing something non stop, scouting a lot more to counter and getting to your winning conditions asap.

+Griffin Bullock I beleive you can play xbox one and put your Halo Wars disc in now. It should work. They are making it backward compatible with 360. Looking forward to HW2 as well :)

yea good point about that lol thats when getting with mates to make a good stratagy is best like me and mate been playing latly and i do a tank rush useing this stratagy and as soon as i have 3 tanks we attack he uses the brute cheftian then throws alot of skirmashs at the enemy lol

21digiking Rushing takes no skill. Only bad players rush because they are desperate. There is way to defeat against them though.

Obviously you dont read/ listen well.
1) Its not supposed to keep production. its a strat to throw the oppnonent off temporarily..
2) This strat gives your team a significant amount of time to build. if I would have rushed with the three tanks the Opponents will have to focus at least 2 out of 3 players to take it down if done correctly.
3) Who are you again? My True skill is 22. Im top 5 for singles and doubles in GB. Now if your trying to play, thats different.

I see people do this still and I just laugh. I go for full tank army in 10 minutes with canister shell. It's easy to clear all three enemies in a game if your team defends any counter attack. By 15 minutes the game is over.
That's hard to believe but it can be done, I saw it in a game myself

this is HUGELY FLOORED, yes it gets you 2 or 3 tanks out quickly, but its not sustainable, and in the realistic game, the opposition, will catch up by the 4th tank. then, they will accelerate and get canny, leaving you behind

if you came to my base in that time I'd have a 2 star fully upgraded cheiftain, and 10 spirit hunters waiting for you, and with some vamps that help with some dps
+Josephine Fox it can be done if you find the right building combo or if your on exile, but that's takes so much time and resources that it's not even worth it

My record is 3:26. Get three warthogs to gather up all the supplies in the map before your bros/rivals can get them all and create three supply pads in the beginning with the 800 you get from the start, create two reactors and a vehicle depot and that's how quick I make a scorpion.

Terrible video. Good luck trying this on Heroic or legendary. Two supply pads with two reactors won't build that many tanks before the 6 mins mark, which is the usual time the rivals start attacking you. Played it, done it, with AI and Multiplayer online
