- This Bonfire Soap project is inspired by the beautiful layers and textures of fire. The design is created with a technique known as the spin swirl. It uses the Bonfire Fragrance Oil, a smoky and sexy fragrance oil with notes of whisky, cinnamon, sandalwood and amber. It behaves wonderfully in cold process soap, which is crucial for a spin swirl.

The spin swirl is an advanced technique that involves layering colors of soap in the mold. Once the mold is full, itâs spun on a Lazy Susan or directly on the counter. The spinning motion causes the soap to swirl together.

Because this soap is poured at a thin trace, it may take a little bit longer to set up in the mold. We highly recommend sodium lactate for this recipe. We also recommend promoting gel phase by insulating the mold, and placing on a heat pad. This will help remove the bars much more quickly.

Thank you so much for teaching us how to make beautiful soap. I made it using a children shoe box and without the fragance and lazy sue. Turned out great! The lines are thinner though. Hoping pretty soon i will get some of your amazing products. Take care, God bless.

why don't you try melt and pour. you can fragrance and colour it and it'll be cheaper

Scrapping the leftovers in the container at the end would be unwise, especially with this type of design, only because the end result would look lumpy instead of smooth the way she intended from the beginning.. if you noticed towards the end how the batter was thickening, it would of given a rough look . I'm pretty sure the leftovers in the container was glopped into a single mold or put away for soap dough for future projects. As a soap maker myself im sure of this! No waste....

Only your books are available in many parts of India. If such bramble berry molds and dividers, colorants, color blocks for MP are sold via amazon it would be of great help.
QUESTION FOR EXPERTS: Can I use eyeshadow simmer in my melt and pour?
Some eyeshadows are literally just pressed pigment - and in those instances then yeah itâd probably work all good, but most eyeshadows have too many other ingredients
Can we purchase this soap somewhere?
Is that process of several different colors and the turning process possible when using melt and pour base? I have found that your goat milk base is great but it does not give you much time to play before it thickens up.......
The key to getting nicely defined melt and pour swirls is temperature. When the soap is around 130F, itâs cool enough to not mix with the other colors but not so cool that itâs too thick. We would recommend pouring your colors at that temperature and giving the mold a few turns to see how it works! If you try this, make sure you first do it in a small test batch to see if you like the results before making a full-sized batch.

Are Brambleberry bags recyclable?
How do you mix your mica to have the jars to dip out of?
We like to disperse the mica in about a tablespoon of lightweight oil to help it mix into the soap batter nicely.
On the premix melt and pour oils, do you give the recipe ratio of sodium hydroxide/ water needed for making melt and pour soap? Iâm assuming you do, yes?

The Bonfire Fragrance oil is a smoky mix of whiskey barrel, cinnamon, suede, cedarwood, sandalwood, and amber. The ingredients for the Swirl Quick Mix are: 25% Coconut Oil, 25% Palm Oil, 25% Canola Oil, 15% Olive Oil, 6.9% Sweet Almond Oil, 3% Castor Oil, and 0.1% Vitamin E Oil.

I love soap making and I appreciate companies like brambleberry... But I feel like one of the top sellers in this community should not sell so much single use plastics like the quick mixes pouches, they may be quick to use but will take years if not century's to fully degrade and not harm small organisms in our environment â»ïž I am a paying customer of bramberry by the way.
My thoughts exactly when she was pouring from that plastic. I expected her to say it was a reusable refill and she didn't đą

@@michael7324 I am. I ditched as much plastic in my soapmaking as I possibly can. Reusable dishes, no plastic bags, no shrink wrap and so on.
Fandom Hamster can I ask what you use instead of shrink wrap. I am trying to cut plastic and I honestly donât know what to use.
Here, in Ukraine we have parchment paper without waxing, matte. It looks very rustic and cute if wrapped properly. I also make a cute tiny bow with a natural string.
If my clients wanna purchase soap as a gift, I have a carton box option with natural ribbons :)

I purchased a trial size of this Bon fire scent , literally smelled like a burnt wet trash bag to me. Absolutely nauseating scent
Such a shame you swapped the soap out. The soap you made in the video is clearly a different soap than the one that magically appeared for the unmolding. Why try to trick your viewers, especially when this is meant to be a tutorial :-( I don't like leaving negative comments (and this will probably get deleted anyway) but please don't try to trick people.
It's called preparation. This way they can film the process of making it and a possible look on one go. I don't think that's deceiving viewers in any way.
The soap that has been unmoulded isnât the one that was poured. Thatâs cheating.
