"The best thing that could've possibly happened to Kenshiro was that nuclear war happened and turned the world into a wasteland. Because otherwise he would've been stuck in the real world with no practical use for his powers!"
Something really worth bearing in mind when watching the Fist of the North Star movie is that it appears rushed due to it being a cut-down version of the TV series. Criticisms such as Raoh's change of heart at the end of the film are simply not a problem in the TV series, where they have a lot of screentime, but appear to come out of the blue in the movie.
Apparently the original was lost in a fire, so the closest to the original uncensored master we're ever gonna get is a semi-censored version from Italy
I love the Dynamics of Raoh and Kenshiro's relationship and the character development. How you really see what motivates both men, it took Kenishiro to lose Yulia and betrayed by his brother Shin to realize his destiny, and how the brutal ruthlessness of the world make Raoh realize his destiny. Both are saviors, Raoh is the dark savior destined to bring law and order by any means necessary, an anti-hero; Kenshiro is the savior of light, destined to bring the peace and fight for the weak and powerless. There can be no peace without law and order, but the law and order can not last without the peace.
"How could something so ubiquitous have no name?!"
Kenshiro, the original one punch man.

Hokuto no ken was SO manly, japanese women refused to read it because they were afraid of getting pregnant.
Watching this video almost four years later, it's amazing how much better shape the oldtaku is in these days. Major props, man.

There is an alternate ending where Kenshiro and Raoh had a stand still. Epic anime one of the best classics
Boss fang is voiced by uncle Phil from fpob, that is amazing
By the way...did they skip Apocalypse Kung-Fu Jesus..aka Toki?
