what an awesome tutorial, time to binge the rest of them!
Thanks for the video very easy to follow. However it is quite ironic that he didn't want to be on camera and now everybody is watching him and is purely focused on him. Although it was most likely hypothetical. Keep up the good vids you got a sub.
Sir, that is a marvellous video. Thank you. What a shame that Adobe makes such a convoluted solution necessary.
Thank you for this... I would NEVER have figured that out without your help!
Helpful, yet again, making a new video that needs some faceblurring. Thank you, once again, for helping.
Just used this today - worked perfect - thank you!
Thank you really helped me out. Great video
Thanks!! this helped soo much!
Incredibly helpful! Learned something is far simpler than I thought it was. Thanks!
Thanks, Shane!
Really helpful - thank you!
Thank you for this!
Thanks man - very helpful !!!!
You could also use the tracking tool
That makes it much easier
good tutorial man
Thank you, that's the missing part I was looking for!
Thank you very much! This really helps so much.
You just earned a SUBSCRIBER! Very well demonstrated and explained THANK YOU.
Welcome aboard, Tyson!
you are BRILLANT! Thank you so much!! So So helpful!!
Thanks, Lea!
Great instructions!
You saved the movie from the bachelor party! Thanks!
That really helps. Thanks so much. :)
Thanks. Excellent!
Thanks really helpful
thanks man!
FANTASTIC THANKS...
Useful for speedo blurring too! 😄
Thanks homie
Hey, just wanna thank you. I've been trying to figure out how to do that for ages.
Glad I could help, Bob!
Holy shit thank you do yall have a patreon?
Thankyou- second attempt worked perfectly; I think I just accidentally disabled Video 1
Hi Steve is it possible to do an animated caption that scrolls in from the left? Nothing fancy just a yellow rectangle with some black text in it. Thanks
Yes. Check out my tutorial on creating titles.
Thanks for this !!! I don't know where I made a mistake, as I managed to get the circle over the face, but on the output I get the white circle instead of the blurred one. I think I followed the instructions. When I do the same as at 04:49, the white circle is not replaced with the blurred one. Anyone has a suggestion ? Note : I am on the 2020 version of the program.
Hard to say without actually seeing what you're deoing, Alexandre. Did you use the exact Matte settings I show you? Look at your Composite Using settings in particular. If Alpha doesn't work, try Luma. And of course make sure that the Matte is set to use the right track for your white circle.
Hey! How are you doing these zoom we can see through out your video? I can't find any tutorial on how to do it. I know it has been more than 4 years since this video was made and that alot of things could of changed and that you might not even reply to this comment but could you please tell me how to do these kind of zoom things? Or maybe link a tutorial if you have one about how to do it. Thanks in advance.
I create my tutorials with Camtasia Studio. Great program!
This guy right here that you can clearly see? Ya, he doesn't want you to know it's him.
This was very helpful, but could you or someone also explain how I can blur two or more faces? I tried to repeat the same process, but when I did the second face, the first blur went away.
Also, why does not Adobe have a Spot Blur function that you can just drag and drop one or more blur spots and motion track an object or objects with capability to fine adjust the locations of blur sports manually?
I'm not sure you can do two Track Mattes at once. I've never tried it. But if you'd like to post your question our free Community Forum at Muvipix.com, I'm sure someone in our community will have some suggestions for creating the effect you're attempting.
How do you make that zoom in at 0:50 (and all the zoom ins) clear? I use the pan and zoom function, but the video is super fuzzy.
This is a feature of Camtasia, the program I use to record and edit my tutorials.
I know this is an old video but is there a way to feather the edges of the dot? Not sure if they added the feature.
If you create a dot with feathered edges, the edges of the blur will also be feathered.
Hi, I know this is years after the video was made, however I have an important question. I follow all of the steps precisely but when I go to apply the track matte key to video 2 it basically takes my blur shape and completely messes it up and I have no idea why. When I look at the actual shape before applying the key it is exactly where I want it but as soon as I apply the key it changes the location of where I was trying to blur and sends it all over seemingly in random places over the video. It is very frustrating as I've attempted this about five different times trying to figure out the problem to no avail. Thanks in advance for any help!
It may have to do with your source video. What is your project's settings (as show under Project Settings under the Edit menu)? Do they exactly match your video specs? If you want to look into this further, please post your question to our free Community Forum at Muvipix.com and we'll be glad to help you out.
Very clear and concise. I cannot figure out how to go back and move the mask afterwards?
Sometimes you need to temporarily remove the Track Matte effect in order to re-do the dot keyframing.
Ok, I will try that. Do you have a playlist of Premiere Elements? I have 2018 but your information transferred perfectly.
@@ThrottleStopRacing There is not a tutorial on changing the matte after placing it. But try what I've suggested and it should work.
Thanks, I used the matte in this video to block the plate. czcams.com/video/GqOYK-B6d38/video.html
I had been using the Quick Export. Tried the online option to export, chose 1080 and high quality. Not sure the quality increased at all. I use a Panasonic HC-V770 camcorder set to record rec mode MP4/ifram, 1080 mp4 50m (highest setting in MP4). The camera also has AVCHD. I find very little information on AVCHD (Advanced Video Coding High Definition for use in high definition consumer camcorders. ). If looking for the best quality, what should my settings be?
I’m praying you can help me, I’m so close. I’ve followed your instructions to a T but at the very end when when I make it so the circle is the only thing blurred the program shifts the circle far to the right away from where I’ve put it originally...no idea why...hoping you have some insight
The positions of things can shift when you're using certain video file types. If you want to drop by the free Community Forum at Muvipix.com and post this question, we'll be glad to help you troubleshoot your issue, Maru.
Steve Grisetti thank you very very much sir!
Is there a way to change the shape of the mask over time?
Yes. You can keyframe its size and make it wider or taller. But I don't know that you could make, say, a circle become a square if that's what you're asking.
I do exactly as you do in the video, but it doesn't work for me.
I can't help you without more details, Fredrik. I can promise you this DOES work.
Why isnt theer just a button, like a paint brush in photo shop? aggghhhhh
I tried this, but got a black screen with only the blurred circle visible at all...
Don't know where you went wrong. Sounds like you didn't have video on two tracks. But if you'd like to post your question to our free Community Forum at Muvipix.com we'll be glad to help you troubleshoot it.
Helpful video, but the zoom in and out is very distracting. I can more easily see what you are doing without the zooming in to show me a specific button.
Sorry about that. But most people do appreciate seeing the details in the interface.
@@sgrisetti No worries, everyone has a different way of learning. I figured I'd say mine in case many people had expressed the same thing. ... I thought this was a great video. I taught me how to do what I wanted. Thank you!
I HATE THIS. I HATE HATE HATE computers and doing this BS was the biggest pain in the ass of all time! I have WASTED my whole morning fucking around with this stupid fucking program. The text circle DRIFTS constantly. Then I have to constantly reposition it. The design of this software is POOR at best. Horrible to work with. After every playback the right side of the screen changes screens to a different configuration! I'm SO TIRED of this crap software. Garbage!
Your going to fast for me. My english is not so good that i can follow your presentation. 😕
Sorry! I wish I could do a version in Spanish.
@@sgrisetti That would be more difficult i'm dutch hahaha but I stopped the video with every action I had to make and it worked 👍🏼thanks
Good job but this is an insane amount of work for such a simple thing I am really NOT liking Adobe much. ShotCut is FREE is easier to use
