LOVED THIS!!! Thank you for keeping the "mistakes" in the video; makes it seem much more attainable for a newbie!!
So excited, just made myself an intro for my videos! Thank you so much. It's not great, but what fun playing with this! Hope to see other things besides lens flares that can be "manipulated" like this!
Thanks so much for sharing this with us!
You're very welcome
Thank you. Very helpful and straightforward. Upped my game immediately!
Thank you for the tutorial, for a change one that I could actually understand.....subscribed !
Thanks for the great tutorial!
Great little tutorial, keep up the good work. Just enough to get started but leaves user with space to explore
Thanks! I learned something new I never knew it was there!
Glad I could help!
This is awesome! thanks Kris, very much...
Great video thank you Kris!
VERY helpful..thanks, Kris. Have you done any tutorials on the Pan/Zoom feature? I'm wondering if there is a way to slowww down the zoom out/in to a gradual stop ..instead of a hard stop...
Thanks so much, gonna use this to make an intro for my videos :)))
You get the black video clip from "Project Assets". Within that panel look for a "Panel Options" button on the far right of that panel. Then within that button there is a "New Item", the drill down to "Black Video".
Nice Tutorial. Now I can start creating movies which are more Professional looking!
Thank you so much... I just got the Premiere Elements 15 and you showed me how to make my first introduction video. Thank you!
You're very welcome, post some results. I'm sure my subs would like to see work by others.
Hello. I really enjoyed your video and intro lesson. I have 2019 and I've been trying to figure out how to do this stuff. I have come a long way and I saw some of the same things you had in your video in my program. I just didn't understand how they worked. Now I do. Thank you. I'm finding out this editing program does far more than I realize and now I understand why it was rated in the top 5 last year, for the cost involved.
Thanks.
Glad I could help.
Great tutorial...thanks. This makes up for the lack of cool animated titles in Premiere Elements, compared to other packages like Windows Movie Maker, iMovie, etc.
You're very welcome
Very informational and detailed. Thanks
Thank you for explaining the more detailed things in Premiere Elements :D
You're very welcome.
Great video! This is very helpful. Thank you :D
I need more of these videos!!! Everytime I go to look up help videos all I ever see is video for premier pro... these actually help out a lot!
You're very welcome, any requests?
Kris Kasprzak absolutely, I have premier elements 15 and I was wonder how to do the cool transitions, like the zoom transition that you see a lot in the premier pro, the the twist or rolling transition with the sound effect included. Basically any cool custom transition effect would be great...
Thanks so much your videos are very helpful!
Glad I could help.
Nice job Kris. Helped me immensely.
Glad I could help.
great tutorial... i learned new stuff... :)
I’m new to premier 2021 and this video really helped! Thank you! I would love to see more!
Glad it was helpful!
thanks great video!!
Nice video. I am going to use that idea. Do you know if it is possible to create really cool intros using this software or would Sony Vegas be better for more creative projects? I am just trying to find out how creative this software will let me be but at the moment I don't know all the features except to make quick videos for my youtube channel.
Great video, thanks! Was using Da Vinci before but I will be buying this as it's easier to use
Glad it was helpful!
Excellent video Kris, this gave me everything I needed to know to create a simple and effective intro. I've already started to expand on what you showed. Quick question though, is there a simple way to trim a piece of audio without Elements (v18) adjusting the audio again? Many thanks, Darren
t5kampa sure try audacity it's a free download and does a bazillion things you can remove noise. Adjust audio levels Equalization everything it's what I use
nice...thanks for that
very nice turtorial
thanks!
Hey Kris, Thanks, I'm using 14 but everything is real close. 1st video I've been able to follow and understand.
yea, from what i've seen 13 and 14 are very similar in terms of UI.
Interesting start. Can you also make the title rise from the bottom of the screen ?
Какое счастье что вы выложили это видео)))), большое вам спасибо (от имени всех чайников), несмотря на то что я не не знаю английского но я всё понял вы объясняете доходчиво и понятно.
Privyet! Glad I could help!
Thank you Sir excellent tutorial am new in CZcams only four months I subscribe
help full, i am Beginner youtuber
Appreciate the video! Thanks a ton!
You're very welcome.
I've been working with Premiere Elements for the past year...and I had no idea how to do any of this. I also watched the PIP video and learned a ton there. Keep it up!
Glad I could help. Post some examples, i'm sure my sub's would like to see what others have done.
Awesome will do!
Thanks Kris
hello Kris ,, please me again how to make colorfull backround for the intro because i aleady did for yellow but when i save it the result is still black the backround
Kris, great videos. I'm stuck in the mud, In Premier Elements Version 15 how do you move the lens flare around. I can’t quite get it… thanks for your help….
I just got out of the mud.......
Good to know, I was going to reply.
Kris, great video!! Can you change the speed for the movement of the flare?
+Jerry McDonald Based on my understanding of your question, yes. You would place the points of change closer together in the time line. The into of this videos intro is slow, but I could have made the flare zip across the screen much faster.
+Kris Kasprzak Thanks Kris...
This was very informative. I do have one issue. I cannot see the anchor point when I minimize lens flare at 4:47. The black screen is blank and I have to manipulate the numbers. I did notice you have what appears to be a light bulb next to the text box that says, "Animate by adding keyframes..." There is obviously some setting I can find to make it work. Would you happen to know?
Yeah finding that sweet spot is very finicky. Keep clicking around that little drop-down area in the effects panel.
Hey! For some reason I am not getting that small circle where the flare is. Do you have any reason why?
@Kris Kasprzak how did you change your time line to from milliseconds to seconds?
where do you see the timeline listed in millis? Timeline is only in seconds and frames in hh,mm,ss,ff (where ff is frame)
hello Kris please teach me how to save te project to DVD because i am the new this editing thank you hope hear you soon..god bless..
Is there a way to import some cool free pre-set titles?
I have not found a way to import any “library type” files.
Thanks for this good tutorial. How can I change the black background to another color on the background? Let's say, black letters on a pale blue background...Thank you.
The only way I found was to create an image file the size or your video, and color of your choice and add it to your timeline and size to meet your needs.
Thank you. I find this is one small flaw in the program compared with the Movie Maker I have been using recently. So now I built an empty Movie Maker video with only the background color of my choice and added the text.
Project Assets/New Item then choose "Color Matte".
Thank you.
Thank you
Where do you get black video. I just purchased this software but I can't find under assets a black video. Do I download it somewhere? Also is there a site that has a bunch of free effects that I can download?
Any reply Ben? I cannot get black video either. I have APE 10
John R Longcroft-Neal no luck
OK, so I made an intro, But how do I save it so it will be included in each new video? Or at least as an asset I can pull up for my 1080p videos? Can you do a tutorial on that?
+Chesapeake Council of the International Federation of Fly Fishers Unfortunately there is no way to add the project to another project, you must export your intro to a hi-res video, then bring that video into other projects. I'm not an expert in choosing the best format but you don't want any compression in your saved files. Perhaps MPG or MOV files with the highest bit rate is the best, highest quality is best.
+Kris Kasprzak Good idea on creating a how to--let me whip something up.
hi Kris may i ask your favor please teach me how to save the files to full screen ..thanks
If you mean create a movie in HD (1920 x 1080), this is done under the Export&Share, you will have to poke at the options. Even if your source is not HD, you can still export to HD.
@@KrisKasprzak thanks i hope it works
How do you import a video to adobe photoshop premiere and elements 2018 when the importer does not work is there customer support for this??
These guys are pretty responsive. forums.adobe.com/community/premiere_elements
i question how do I make a intro for my videos I want it to be a blue screen with the sound of rain and thunder and then have lighting strike Nd my name pop up with a knight standing in the back ground would it be possible to make something like this I really really want that for my intro videos on my channel I just don't know how to make it with this system :)
+James Knight There are a variety of ways to get a blue background. Easiest is to create a BMP image (per you video size and paint it your desired blue--use Paint, Photoshop, etc. Then bring that image into premiere. Overlay image of you, add text. Adobe has a lightning effect, but i'm not very impressed with it.
Kris Kasprzak ok thank you so much!!! I'll give it a shot
What if i want to put this intro ON a video? Can i delete the black video so it's transparent?
you could apply the same effects but on your actual video clip. There is no way to put a project into another project.
this video made me to subscribe u. Means it ia good one
Glad I could help.
Hi Kris, I am using APE 10 and cannot find a black video. Can you help please?
OK Found it under an icon next to the delete bin.
Good to know.
how do i get the black video?
In the Project Assets tab (upper left) , find the Panel Options button, the in the list find new item, finally you should see Black Video
Kris Kasprzak thank u very much.. ur videos are very helpful..
I'm stuck on the 3rd step. I can't get the flare center to show up to make the center point to move.
Wilson Nature Photography yeah making those points show up is very finicky in the video at 4:45 where to click to make the points visible in the graphics window, you may have to do it a few times to get the points to show up
Hey Kris, Thank you for replying I actually thought you wouldn't reply to such an old video. When I do click just to the left of the down arrow it does show the center point, but when I click it again it doesn't show up to move it. I notice in your clip there is a light bulb which doesn't show up in mine. I will give it another try and continue multiple times to see if it will work. This is my first time doing video edits and having a tough time with the learning curve. Pretty frustrating..... thank you again for your response. Greg
can i do this on elements 8????
I'm guessing you can, UI will be very different though.
+Kris Kasprzak may i said something i fallow the steps you gave on the elements 8 and didn't know those features were there.......you're the man thanks player
Where is the sound file?
Hey Guy's!
