This indian casino probably has the best location of all indian casinos in northern cali. Maybe in the state. It's right off a major freeway and very close to the bay area and obviously sacramento metro. This will also lower the amount of people traveling to Placer county to Thunder Valley, but it will also lower any potential crime due to the influx of out of area people. With that said, I could see the negative effects happening now here in Sky River and Elk Grove. Stockton, South Sacramento, Central California folks, East bay (oakland, hayward, san leandro, etc) will now go here instead of anywhere else. I hope Elk Grove increases their police.

Years ago. I dropped a friend off at the Wilton Reservation who needed a ride. Not even a paved road then! Small government built houses and poverty. Now those folks who are enrolled have virtually won the lottery. Good for them! Good for the community. I hope their new found prosperity brings blessings and healing for years to come!
Was there yesterday with my wife. They did a great job on this place. Lots of great machines. Saw many people getting handpay jackpots. Both my wife and I walked out with a coulple of hundread more than what we brought. The place was packed. Food was good. Can't wait to go back! It was a lot of fun!!!

Was there yesterday started the day in the negative, but hit on a couple of penny slots and walked out with a few hundred bucks more than I came in with 🤑. Tons of people and smoke is bad regardless of the floor air vents. Ate at the Chicken restaurant had the Porchetta Sandwich. It was 3/5, bread was cold and already becoming a bit dry but meats were well seasoned. Did not see much hand sanitizer around the casino. 1/7 people wore masks, but is not a requirement. Long lines everywhere, include all the bars. By 2pm all machines were taken, I mean all machines. Nice place overall, might come back in a few months when things calm down

Overall, the place is nice and a good variety of slots. Went here around 4am and the crowd was pretty sketchy and a number of folks just hangin out in the parking lot. By the time we left at 8am, the crowd started to look more normal 😂. The place already looked dirty with garbage on the floor, sticky buttons and smudges all over the slots, and wads of gum on the tile floor 🤦🏽♂️. Will wait till everything calms down with the place before making an analysis and will stick to Cache Creek, Graton, and Thunder for now

I went there last Wednesday night. The inside of the casino felt way smaller than the size of the building. I feel I had missed more to the place. I will say it is nice and cant wait for the traffic to normalize so I can go there with out waiting a long time in traffic.

Good location. This casino should give other casinos a run for the money. Ever since Thunder Valley opened. I’ve never won anything meaningful worth a dime. I hope they lose traffic.
This casino was not ready to open and they knew it…machines were stuck and people had to wait hours to get hand paid, atm machines are down, lines are long everywhere, only 1 cashier in the casino plus the one in High Limit which is closed most times, there was 10 employees standing in the cashier cage but only 3 cashiers thats actually working, dealers have no idea what the rules are and table limits are, parking lot wasnt even ready causing closure of the parking because its too full, people had to park down the street and around the area then was turned away at the door because it has reach capacity inside…it was a mess the first week
I wish you would have given your opinion. We went there this past Thursday and we found it smokey and there were a few homeless people sitting at the slot machines playing on thier phones. I understand why they go there for the free wifi and it's so much cooler than outside. I wish they had a lounge there for them. The food wasn't that great. (under cooked) We will be going back after a couple of months to see if they have improved. We understand that new places do improve after being in operation for awhile.

I used to live in California, the South Sacramento area, up until about three decades ago and at the time , if I my memory serves me correctly, the closest casino was Cache Creek. But I don't gamble and never have so I'm not a hundred percent certain on that. Well, good news for the gamble enthusiasts in the area with Sky I guess.

Elk Grove isn't the old Elk Grove of 2000. She's grown & is bigger. Rest assured the City of Elk Grove & Sky River are working together to provide an enjoyable & safe experience with as minimal a stress on its neighborhoods.
It's the location. The bad guys can get right back on the freeway quickly. No garage and wide open parking lot. Much more difficult to patrol than a garage.
Great casino! Live near there so I will be frequenting this place instead of having to drive to thunder valley all the time. Parking is horrible though.

Can't see how Jackson will survive without bringing back their buffet. No reason to travel that far to gamble with Sky River so much closer. Same with Harrah's Nor Cal. These mega casinos are opening up all over the place with the new Table Mountain and soon the new Chicken Ranch.

I think any buffet would be good. Not many buffets at any casino right now. Food court was understaffed and new staffing. So a lot of food delay
They need to also build an arcade for kids. I haven’t visited yet don’t know if they already have one.

Can't see how Jackson will survive without bringing back their buffet. No reason to travel that far to gamble with Sky River so much closer. Same with Harrah's Nor Cal. These mega casinos are opening up all over the place with the new Table Mountain and soon the new Chicken Ranch.
