Who are the Weakest Characters in Street Fighter 3?

- All three versions of Capcom's 90s fighting game 'Street Fighter III' have lots of unique and memorable characters, but for this video, I wanted to see who the worst character is in each version.
We'll be covering New Generation, Second Impact, and Third Strike in this video, and I've done my best to properly word my thoughts and feelings on the characters I nominate as being the 'worst' in their respective games. - Hry
Even on joke characters designed to be hilariously bad it's rare to see "minus on hit," even though that is REALLY funny.

I think that was kindof a trend in arcades back then. Morrigan was the worst in Vampire Savior back then, even tho she's the face of that game, and Rock Howard, who was Garou's posterboy, also was the lowest of the low.
And yet, people love them for how cool they were despite their standing on the tier list
Ryu is usually on the weaker side in a lot of games where he's the poster boy. He's rarely the worst but he's usually held back by just being a slower Ken or lacking the options the likes of Akuma get.

I don't care what people say about Hugo, He will always be the goat in my opinion!
Alex might suck, but nothing is more satisfying to me than nailing his gameplay. All his hits are just so satisfying to land.
This vid was awesome but ive gotta say at the very top level of 3rd strike twelve actually performs well with players who can consistently confirm into super or axe, but yeah id definitely say twelve is the worst if you're low level as of his crap damage and safety if not sean takes the cake.
Fightcade remies are hard to beat af. I don't get what makes him bad.
@@DioDCynicI'm a Remy player. If you're decent at parries, that shuts down a lot of his shenanigans. He also has low health and stun, basically no cross ups, and low damage output. I could go on. He's still super fun to play against most of the cast. The top three drain his health bar stupid easy though.

Hugo has the easiest TOD in the game. You can infinitely juggle reset his claps and EX claps off a wall throw.
I know that he's probably the 4th worst one ahead of Remy/Twelve/Sean but for me it's Alex, every time i look at him he looks like someone threw together some random moves on a character and called it a day, after making him the poster child for some reason

Sean, Remy, and 12 are the hands-down worst: Remy at least has a viable zoning strategy in a game that absolutely HATES zoning (myriad ways around it.) 12 & Sean don't really have anything, at all =/

Sf3 and 2i to this day might be the best looking cps3 games. I wish 3rd strike had backgrounds on this level.
13:37 i am shocked NO ONE told you 12's Super art 2 can be combo'd into but its extremely hard. its almost impossible against a real opponent but it can be done. You do Medium kick and super jump cancel and quickly and i do mean quickly Tiger Knee the input for the air super to be low enough and fast enough to cancel and combo.
While true it's so situational sa2 is so much less consistent than sa1 it pretty much doesn't matter.

Well most taller people has some disadvantages with quickness? Especially, if they are big and tall in sports or fighting games?
Unless you're in Dragon Ball FighterZ where almost everyone can superdash and use assists to cover distance.
Broly in FighterZ is the biggest character in the game and is both the best grappler AND the best zoner.

Street fighter has never been balanced, its always actual OP characters with great tools against intentionally badly designed characters with many flaws. They only changed this in SF5 and SF6
The point is that it is generally more balanced than it's contemporaries. The power level is lower than anime and vs games so the gap between the strongest and weakest characters is smaller.
Alex is by far my least favorite character in the game. Its funny because my name is Alex, yet I cannot stand this character 😅
