- I came accross this plastic horror whilst browsing aimlessly one day. After initially dismissing it with disgust, I scrolled buck up and podered for a bit, finally thinking 'That could like damn good in wood'!!!

An excellent well finished project Graham - so much better than the plastic version.
I think you undersold the importance of finding inspiration from the mundane. We can exercise our creative muscles by looking critically at inexpensive mass-produced items and putting our own spin on it. Excellent piece Graham, very well done. And because of this video, I've now been "commanded" by the Mrs. to put one of these together 😅

Beautiful adaptation sir. I think the 5 degree cuts on the top really sets it off. You’ve taken it from a utility piece to an artistic piece.

If you don’t mind sir can you recommend a first project for a complete bigger ?
I would start with a basic butt joint box, that will get you measuring and cutting accurately. Then move on to a mitred box, then maybe a finger joint box.
