He went on the live shows and was just so humble and grateful to be given the opportunity, you could tell how seriously he took his music and was the runner up to winner Marlisa, who I feel wasn't as talented and only 15 at the time, she released her single but disappeared after. His winning single was good, and had he won I believe he would have been a lot more successful.

I've just recently found this video. I love watching these because of the fire you see in the faces of those who are chasing a dream. I know he is a long way past this audition and I know a little about doing it myself. I love all his other music and videos but I could watch this one video 1000 times and still go back to it again and watch like it was the first time. He inspires me to keep chasing my own dream. I must state this though.....he has got to be the most beautiful young man in the face I have ever seen. Those dark eyes, hair and the shape of his eyes and nose.....OMG..... He has this mystery about himself that is drawing as well. His body language when he performs says he is the music not he is performing it. I would love to see him live. I believe he has that gift that goes into the spiritual mode not just a singer, song writer that will one day be off the books. He is right up there with Elvis. He takes you for a ride you will never forget and cant wait to go on again. Love him! Bravo!

This audition was amazing. But I wonder how many people today knows what is meant by Betty Davis eyes. I hope before he sang this song he went on online and watched some of her movies. There is a feeling given off from the original song that matched Betty Davis' eyes that seemed to draw you in. Big and expressive that just seemed to manipulate people.
