This is the best cover I’ve ever heard hands down both of them are beautiful, voices, performance and the way they collaborate is nothing short of amazing I wish they had more.
I've heard them both talk about their collaboration in interviews. Neither initially tried out for the show-both were scouted by the show and invited to a higher level of auditions. At first Sawyer turned it down because he doesn't believe in competing in music, but was talked into it by a producer. He looked at it as a learning experience. Noelle talked about being nervous and feeling outmatched by Sawyer when they were paired up. But they enjoyed working together, and by the time they were on stage, she said she was lost in the moment and remembers it as magical :)
I could listen to this version a thousand and more times and touches me like no other song I’ve ever heard... The respect they give each other throughout is just...wow.. Could have been a big hit.
