The main reason why my cats rarely use the Puramax is because of the little space inside. Seems the new design is not fixing that, the device itself got bigger and yet the entrance smaller.

I can't believe y'all are making poop slide 2.0. It's exactly why I hate the pura max but love my pura X. The globe style just works... the poop slide just makes a gross mess AND makes it difficult to empty the litter out fully to hose it off outside. Just... no.. I wish you guys would go back to the Pura X design and fix it with a bigger opening and a larger waste bin.

Agree. Wish it was a box and not an orb. The nice thing about the box designs of the pura x is that you can use the top to store items on. These orb designs do not allow for storage like this.

I was about to buy it, but then I see the opening is so small. There is no way you can squeeze the cat inside. Even the cat is very flexible to enter. There is no way many people roll by it.
I have two of the Puramaxes and I think they are pretty good. Not perfect but pretty good. In fact, I actually got my first one when they were doing the indegogo (I think it was indegogo) crowd funding round. Anyhow, I'm really looking forward to seeing what kind of improvements they made this go-round so much so that I put my $1 deposit in.
Does the liner smell? A friend has one and says the liner smells because it's some type of fabric and not rubber
@@BettyHorridI don’t think the liner has a noticeable smell, but after about a year I just replaced them, as they are sold individually on Amazon

You don't have this one, you have one of the earlier designs. This is still in the indiegogo funding stage and hasn't even shipped yet.
This is way too big. And most cats will not like the swiveling camera.
The swivel camera is so unnecessary. If they just put a small camera like they have on pet feeders it would be much better.
