You forgot to mention the center plastic tab in the middle that’s not visible…at all!….”then you pretty much just yank it out”….almost yanked my bumper off. Thanks for the how-to video ya nimwad.

Just installed my new grill this evening. IF I have ANY advice to anyone who is planning on working on their 10+ year old truck with OG parts, you're going to break a few of those plastic clips. It's inevitable. My grill had a tag on it that said "04/2012." It's been through a lot of weathering / wear and tear.
The "clips on clips on clips" SnailTrail4X4 is talking about in this video are the clips that I ended up breaking. I broke like 5 or 6 of em trying to get the grill off the trim. :(
They were so fragile there was nothing I could do about it...
Other than that, I was able to install the new grill easily..

Any idea what those part numbers are for the clips that broke easily? I’m trying to find some oem clips in Case I run into the same issue. I looked on rock auto and googled oem grill parts with no success. Would the dealership sell those?
@@Dawginbama17 Unfortunately those clips are not replaceable. They’re molded on to the grill itself so if they break, that’s it.
Also, a rock flew off a back of a work truck and broke my grill already 😡 cheap plastic Chinese crap….

One of my friends got an after market grill for his f150 and it had a whistling noise when he was on the highway I was curious if this would do the same?

Everything is possible, but this would take a lot of work, probably fenders, lights, grille, bumper
Dumb question but are all Tacoma's sr5 or trd? Or is there like a base that is neither? Because I am not sure what my truck is so just want to make sure it will fit.
There are 6 trim styles of Tacomas, SR, SR5, TRD Sport, TRD Off-Road, Limited, and TRD Pro.

That grill is only for 12-15 Tacomas not 05-15.
