Olivia Rodrigo is a Disney+ star and the lead in High School Musical: The Series and is only 17. This is her debut single and she has written the song herself from her personal experience. She's a huge Taylor Swift fan and also a Lorde fan I think and you can see the influences in the songwriting and melody. I'm so excited to see what she releases in the future.

I hate to be cynical but as ya get older it all sounds the same especially at the start of their career with limited say on the record. Sell love in a pop package to a new generation, till they get old enough to sell their skin instead of their music. Positions = sex. Wrecking Ball = sex.
