I had to pause to laugh at the pop-up Michael Scott in the corner at 0:46. 🤣

Had to watch y’all’s other video on how to remove the seat. Was much more clear. Struggling to get the cylinder to move without scratching it.

I am just curious, do your OPEN BOX Amia office chairs have a flexible front edge that helps release leg pressure?

Hi Connie - Yes the Amia chair has a flexible front edge design to relieve leg pressure on the front edge of the seat. Side note - we do not market our chairs as Open Box chairs, because they are definitely not what we would consider an open box product (with the exception of the Steelcase Authorized Factory Return chairs, but we still don't put an "open box" label no those either). Our chairs are remanufactured, and we are very open about the exact process each chair goes through :)

The cylinder and base won’t budge. Maybe they are welded together because no luck at all

The cylinder was already loose, right ?

That cylinder has been in the chair for about 1 year or so, it is an internal office chair that gets quite a bit of use

I am totally not able to get that cylinder to budge. I’m just grinding the metal off.

@@ibrand23 I was able to get the cylinder off with a 8-inch pipe wrench. I had to twist it a bit and then double checked to see if it needed additional tighting before continuing on. Teeth marks from the pipe wrench were left behind, but I doubt I will ever notice it again once I assemble it in its new home.
